Perfect Large Group Getaway

This was our second time staying in this house. Our group loves to come here! Everyone has space to spread out, but the general areas are big enough for all of us to come together too. The beautiful hot tub area was a nice addition. We enjoyed hiking and being centrally located between several towns.

A Lovely Weekend in a Lovely Home!

Every year I take my kids on a trip for Christmas instead of buying them gifts. They now range in age from 9 to 26, and our family now also includes the adult children's significant others as well as my one year old grandson. It can be difficult to find rentals big enough to accommodate our group that provide the vacation experience while still being budget friendly. This place was honestly perfect for our needs! It is such a big, spacious home that it didn't feel crowded at all. The hot tub and pool table made it feel fun and special, and the large kitchen with two full stoves and ovens was a treat for mom. The property was gorgeous and the kids of all ages enjoyed rambling around outside. I stayed at the house the entire three days we spent there, but my adult daughter drove to Chico and Oroville to go shopping and see the sights. We decorated gingerbread houses, ate meals together, played games, and watched movies, as well as spending a lot of time in the hot tub and playing pool. It was a wonderful, relaxing long weekend, and I highly recommend this rental to other families and big groups!

Fun house with a great location

Great home close to lake

The property is beautiful and had plenty of space for our group of 12 adults. Was perfect for our long weekend on the lake and conveniently located within minutes of the Lime Saddle launch. The hosts were great and responsive if we had questions. Would definitely stay again!

We are in another Vrbo now and although the cost is similar, this property is so much nicer than what we’re we are now. Top notch amenities, responsive hosts, incredibly clean and very well maintained.

10/10 easy, clean and spacious

Our stay could not have gone any better! This space is very spacious, well stocked, and clean. This house is set up where everyone can have their privacy while still having several common areas. The house is incredibly sound proof. Some of us who went to bed early said their was no noisefrom anyone downstairs. We enjoyed our stay very much and was much more than just a place to sleep but a inviting spot to hangout. My favorite thing by far was the ease of communication. Sarah was very hospital! We will for sure be staying here again if we are in the area!

Quiet retreat

This place was perfect for our large extended family group. The host was quick to respond to all needs. Downstairs there is a queen room, but only a half bath (no shower/tub). So keep that in mind. It still worked for us. The owner's cats seem to still like the house and hang out ONLY outside hoping to get attention...which our group gave much of! The AC units work well. The jacuzzi is large with many jets. Definitely take time to visit Kirshner's Wildlife Sanctuary less than a mile down/across the street. It was a wonderful stay!

Great space for all ages!

This property is impressive! I planned my teen daughter’s surprise party there and all her friends loved everything this place had to offer! They got to enjoy the newly installed hot tub, so that was a special treat. The host is very responsive and detail oriented. She was gracious enough to extend the checkout time which was beneficial when dealing with lazy teens :) I can see how this space would be enjoyed by all ages. It has play structures for the little ones, great indoor spaces for hide and seek; classical touches like a vintage piano and breakfast nook. The bonus/game room was a favorite and big enough for all the friends to sleep there! I’m from Chico so live really close, but I felt like I was far from home. Beautiful outdoor space, quiet, and very relaxing. True comfort!

Perfect Place

Table Rock Mountain Wedding

Four couples traveled from just down the road (Folsom, Auburn, EDH) for a wedding. We all wanted to stay together and were looking for a place that could accommodate us that was close to the wedding. This home was perfect! It was spacious, clean, and located on a very private piece of property. The homeowners were helpful and even allowed us to check in early so we could get ready at the house before the wedding! It was the perfect place for us! We all enjoyed our stay. If you’re traveling to the area for any reason I would highly recommend you rent this house and invite some friends!

Awesome 3 day weekend

First of all, the photos online do no do the house justice. The house and the property turned out much nicer then in the pictures. There was plenty of space for everyone. We loved the fact that the kitchen had 2 stoves/oven, there were 2 living rooms, and plenty of space at the dinning room table. Our group had a wonderful time exploring the property and taking advantage of the basketball court and other outdoor activities. Also, we were only 15 mins away from a beautiful phantom falls hike. We wanted to say a big thank you to the owners of the property for their wonderful house and amenities. We we definitely recommend.

Beautiful secluded home

Large family home with room to spread out. Owner was easy to reach. There were two outdoor cats (which my children loved as they were friendly) And an occasional visiting spider!! All the things expected when you’re visiting a mountain home. The home was clean and well stocked. Would love to stay again!

Awesome house for large groups with children

Owners were quick to respond, friendly, and very knowledgeable about fun things to do in Oroville. They have excellent AC, plenty of bedroom choices, extra towels and blankets and so much space! We had a great vacation!
