We got the room because the hotel had a bar and restaurant. Arrived, check in, ask about why was so crowded. Said it was a convention for Alcohol addiction and recovery and the bar was shut down. Not fair for other patrons.

The hotel is pretty run down. It is not well maintained — faucets in both the sink and shower were broken, wallpaper peeling off the walls in the room. As far as cleanliness, a dissolving bar of soap stuck was to the floor and hair was on the wall of the shower. Feels like a Double Tree by name only and the lipstick is wearing off the pig.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located for easily walking around town. We attended the Princess Theatre so very walkable to the downtown areas. Lots of traffic on highway so very noisy outside but doors inside were soundproof and quiet.
