Great Place!!!

I’ve lived in Alabama and Tennessee my whole life and I had never explored the Huntsville area!! My husband and I wanted to see what the fastest growing area in Alabama was all about! Our stay here at The Nest was the perfect location!!! I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place! Very quiet and private!!! The hosts furnished everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. When we are back in Huntsville, we will definitely stay again!!!

4 emails to property manager. NO RESPONSE.A hundred (at least) ants in the kitchen. I could not wash up 5 items in the sink. I would have been bitten.

Great place, just not for me

The place was really nice, but it was not for us. The bed was listed as a queen but felt like a full size bed. My husband is 6' 2 and was uncomfortable. The listing did not show that the owners are also living in the complex, which we just prefer not to have on site. Overall the place is beautiful, clean and well stocked. There is a train that runs at 2:19 am every day and if you are a light sleeper, it will wake you up. This is not on the owners or the complex, more like rude guests that didn't follow the rules for staying at this location, but quiet hour was at 11 pm. til morning. Someone was washing clothes at 12:19 am (could hear running water, and the spin cycle for a while). We did have an ant problem in the bathroom which was reported to the owner. As I said, before, the place is very nice, it just wasn't for us.

The Nest is outstanding

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway this weekend and we both loved everything about the place. It was just as described and the hosts Steve and Cathleen make everything very easy. Checking in was smooth and the property has everything you might want or need. You’ll find way more amenities here than you’ll find in most rentals and everything is nice. Very warm and charming decor including some fantastic art from co host Cathleen throughout the property. I highly recommend The Nest and look forward to returning.

Amazing property

Accommodations were wonderful. Everything was well stocked. Very comfortable to hang out and sleep. Great neighborhood; downtown Huntsville with its wonderful restaurants well within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

What a charming little spot! There were cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance and we were a short ride anywhere else we wanted to go in Huntsville. This was a really comfortable, pleasant place to rest our heads while in town to enjoy a music festival.

The Shaws take good care of the Nest. It was fully equipped and well decorated. I especially liked the bird theming throughout the property. Owners are friendly and have good communication. Great stay for business or just exploration the area.

Amazing Stay at the Nest.

Our stay at the Nest was above and beyond our expectations. The cleanliness was top notch, and the hospitality and accommodations offered by Steve and Cathleen were just as impressive. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back!

Great space to get away

We had such a good stay at the NEST. the beautiful and extra clean location was perfect for us. We both work remote so we had to be able to separate for calls and this was just big enough to do that. Close to everything, Loved the different KCUPS that were waiting for us. everything was perfect.

Great little gem in Five Points

We came back to Huntsville for my sisters 50th wedding anniversary. The Nest was perfect for my husband and I. Steve and Cathleen were the perfect hosts. They were hospitable and helpful. I would recommend their little slice of heaven anytime.

Pleasant and productive stay

The place is very clean, well-ordered, and has a well-equipped kitchen which we used quite a lot. It is also a pleasant walk to the Von Braun Center where I was working, through the historic district of Huntsville, with many beautifully restored old houses. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and available but no at all intrusive. In all, 100 percent satisfaction plus a touch more. Thanks!

I will continue as I have in the past, to stay at “The Nest” in Huntsville, AL when I need to be overnighting there. It’s truly the best VRBO property I’ve ever stayed in. The Hosts, Steve & Cathleen, are great Hosts, who have always truly cared for my needs when “The Nest” has been available for me to stay in. It’s close to the medical district of Huntsville Hospital & multiple specialists. It’s comfortable, clean & safe feeling always. It’s the best place to stay, close to all your wants & needs when in Huntsville! It’s #1😃👍‼️
