Calm respite with beautiful views

We had a great stay in Bougainvillea. The terrace was our favorite spot to hang out and to eat. The views are fantastic! Very comfortable apartment, with good sized rooms and an ample kitchen for cooking. Perfect for two couples sharing. We all enjoyed this quiet community off the tourist path; delicious, affordable local wine and fresh seafood at the two nearby restaurants. You'll get plenty of exercising walking up hills around here! Vilma and her family were lovely and helpful. Highly recommend and would return.

A wonderful, peaceful location and a very comfortable house.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Villa Perka. We were a large group of 3 families with children ranging from 9 to 18. The configuration of the property worked perfectly for us - teenagers had their own space and the adults were able to congregate sociably! Vilma and her family were extremely helpful and the house was kept very clean and tidy. The village is very quiet but it has 2 great restaurants, a bakery and a small shop so there is no need to stray too far! Hvar town is only about 15km away but beware the hairpin bends of the unpaved road - quite a scary experience! Local beaches are small and stony but beautiful. My only small criticisms are that there isn't air conditioning in all the rooms and where there is it can. E temperamental! Also the deck around the pool area is small and there are insufficient sunloungers for a group of 16. But all in all a fabulous holiday in a lovely property.

Absolutely Magical!

The pictures don't lie. The villa and surrounding property are absolutely magical. The location and views are stunning and breathtaking. I can't say enough good things about my experience staying at the villa. Vilma was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so generous helping me plan my visit which included a large group of 13 people. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for an escape to a beautiful location on a beautiful island with amazing views of the Adriatic Sea. This is the place!

What a view!

Vilma was a pleasure to communicate with leading up to our stay. The home was immaculate and clean with one of the world's best views. No complaints at all, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend.

Amazing view and very nice location!

The host was great. Charming place with local restaurants and wine. The swimming pool and the outdoor area was wonderful for the whole family! We enjoyed our stay and will defenetly come back. We would recommend this place, we lived several families together and the place was great for social activities. Best regards from Norway!

Fantastic location, stunning views!

We stayed at Villa Perka as a group of 14 and had a truly fantastic week! The position, views and gardens were all amazing... the pool area was perfect for the children to play and adults to sunbathe, both local restaurants were really good with the added bonus of local wines from the surrounding vineyards! The apartments were all spacious and very clean.... I would love to go back and miss my morning coffee looking out to sea!

Beautiful Sunny Hvar Villa w/ Great Views

Villa Perka was the perfect place for our group of 13 adults to enjoy a week-long holiday filled w/ beautiful ocean views, lots of sun & water, delicious cooking/grilling in the indoor kitchens & outdoor grill, local wines from the winery just up the hill & kind/thoughtful croatian hospitality from Vilma & her family. Vilma was the ultimate host w/ prompt/clear & very helpful communication as we planned our trip. Villa Perka is clean & well maintained w/ lots of amenities & plenty of space for all our guests to be comfortable together, while also have some privacy when needed. the pool area is beautiful & impressively built. we enjoyed many long days & night hanging out in the pool or under the shaded terrace. while we enjoying cooking at home, the local restaurant Tamaris was also friendly & delicious. we absolutely enjoyed our stay & highly recommend Villa Perka for those looking for a nice, quiet & relaxing way to enjoy the beautiful island of Hvar. hvala, Vilma!

Stunning unspoiled seclusion!

From the moment we enquired about the property nearly a year ago, the service and communication from the owner was superb. This was really helpful as organising a large family holiday to a destination we haven't visited before could otherwise be very stressful!!! Vilma helped with everything from offering contacts for speedboat transfers from the airport to the village jetty (this worked out great value, quick and most fun for a large group), car hire (a must for getting out and exploring the beautiful island towns and beaches) to helping arrange a 60th birthday cake and recommendations for restaurants. She even ensured we had some basic supplies ready for our arrival as the small (but accessible and well stocked) local village shop would have been closed then. The property itself was configured suitably for our group of 16, being split into 3 self contained apartments it worked perfectly for each family group with children but still meant that we could all eat meals together around the lovely large family table on the veranda outside the largest apartment with stunning sea views. The property was very clean, spacious and well equipped, we honestly wanted for nothing there during our weeks stay. The pool area is gorgeous and was very well used by us all, especially the 6 children! The village is peaceful, secluded and unspoiled, a small beach which is worth visiting and only a couple of restaurants (we visited one of these which was lovely but we found expensive compared to others in other towns on the island). An early morning hike to the monastery in the cave is a must as the scenery from that point is spectacular, well worth the steep climb through the village and past the vineyards. Whilst we had car hire for 3 days we visited Hvar town, Stari Grad town, Vebroska town, Jelsa town and Dubrovika beach, everywhere was not only beautiful but also welcoming and very clean and easy to find. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be visiting again, the property and location exceeded all of our expectations and only a 2 hour flight from London. Thanks to Vilma, her lovely family and to Hvar itself!!!

Absolutely gorgeous place!

Very relaxing vacation spot and a short, but steep walk down to beach and restaurants. Only complaint is that basic supplies for cooking and cleaning were not initially provided. But when asked, the owner was very generous in providing what we needed.

We love to stay there at Villa Perka! Stunning view of the sea and beautifull appartmants all lovely equiped and clean. Vilma & Family are all very helpful and kind! Lovely Beaches and sea-shore based climbing/cliffbase a footpaht away. Overall a great place to enjoy holidays, wish to stay longer! :D

Great family vacation

Very nice apartment with a beautiful terrace and a stunning view. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The location was just perfect. You could go down at the "marina" for wine and dine and to the beach which was really nice. The kids had a playground just a few steps from the apartment. Vilma and her family are so friendly and we felt very welcome. Thank you Vilma and family for a lovely family vacation!

QUALITE, AUTHENTICITE ET SAVOIR-VIVRE

HabituĂ©s des vacances d'Ă©tĂ© sur la cĂŽte dalmate, nous plaçons notre sĂ©jour Ă  la Villa Perka en tĂȘte de nos meilleurs souvenirs pour les raisons suivantes : Le village de Sveta Nedjelja conserve encore ce cĂŽtĂ© sauvage et authentique, loin du tumulte des stations balnĂ©aires surpeuplĂ©es. La population locale y est rare et trĂšs accueillante. La mer est l'une des plus propres qu'il nous ait Ă©tĂ© donnĂ© de voir ; de plus, elle avoisinait les 31-32°C ce qui a fait le bonheur des grands et surtout des petits qui ne sont pratiquement pas sortis de l'eau (non, nous ne sommes pas Marseillais !). En dehors des prestations de trĂšs bon niveau (wifi, change des draps et serviettes tous les 2-3 jours, cuisine Ă©quipĂ©e, climatisation et bientĂŽt piscine), la Villa Perka se distingue avant tout par la qualitĂ© de l'accueil de ses propriĂ©taires, adorables, trĂšs attentionnĂ©s et d'excellent conseil, qui constitue sans aucun doute LA plus-value de cette location. Le contact est familial et dĂ©tendu ; cela se reflĂšte dans l'agencement de la moindre piĂšce, du moindre coin de jardin, entretenus avec soin et dĂ©corĂ©s avec goĂ»t, loin du decorum convenu et neutre des pensions que l'on a pu tester ailleurs. Last but not least, Vilma confectionne et vend ses propres confitures, miel et autres produits dĂ©rivĂ©s de la flore locale (lavande, citron, figue, olive,...) : autant de souvenirs Ă  rapporter Ă  son entourage. En conclusion, nous avons passĂ© dix jours d'excellente qualitĂ© Ă  la mer et nous le devons en trĂšs grande partie Ă  l'accueil de Vilma et de sa famille. Nous recommandons sans hĂ©siter cette pension qui donne envie d'y retourner l'annĂ©e prochaine.

Ein Insel und Ort des Loslassens

Ein wunderbarer – und wenn man es zulĂ€sst (-: – ein meditativer Blick aufs Meer aus einer grosszĂŒgig geschnittener Terrasse. Vilma, Bruder Ante und die Eltern sind sehr sympatisch, kommunikativ, entgegenkommend und großzĂŒgig. Die Wohnung ist praktisch geschnitten und angenehm. Vielleicht nur die ArbeitsflĂ€che in der KĂŒche, wenn man öffters kocht, bedĂŒrfte eine Vergrösserung oder Änderung, weil sie wenig AblageflĂ€che bietet. Vilma ist sehr kreativ und einfallsreich und ausser der individuell eingerichteten Wohnungen macht sie selbst nach Familienrezeptur eigene Produkte wie z. B. Marmeladen und Seife und bittet auch Erzeugnisse Ihres Vaters an – unter anderem einen wunderbar schmeckenden Honig oder Schnaps aus Johanisbrot. Wir haben uns beide sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und danken der ganzen Familie fĂŒr alles_ingrid+anton

An oasis

We enjoyed this nice appartment with everything one need and with a wounderfull view on the sea. The owners are a very hospitable familly which helped us in many places. The romantic village with its traditional stone houses and the little mini-market , countless little beaches, pine and olive trees as well as good local wine and seefood we will miss. I can definitly recommend this appartment for stress-free holidays with childrens.

Quiet and Relaxing

The Villa Perka is located in the village of Sveta Nedjelja on the south coast of Hvar. The drive to get there is not quick but the end result is well worth the adventure. The south coast of Hvar has winding roads, over steep cliffs, with breathtaking views, which offers access to several small villages with lovely beaches and good local restaurants along the way. Local wines from cottage wineries are abundant and accessible along the drive. We were two couples travelling by car and the 2 bedroom, two full bathrooms, Latana apartment at Villa Perka was a good size and very well suited to our needs. The apartment was clean, well maintained, well equipped and our host Vilma was very accommodating to all our requests plus a wealth of information about the local restaurants (both good), wineries, bakery, coffee shop, and market in the village. Vilma’s homemade preserves and soaps were a very nice special touch too. The Latana apartment is located on the ground floor with a large pleasant patio which features a panoramic view looking south over the Aegean Sea. There is a great hike, for those so inclined, up the mountain behind the village to a cave high above complete with a small church inside. If you are looking for an authentic Croatian holiday experience, away from the touristy areas, Sveta Nedjelja is a great place for a quiet relaxing holiday and Villa Perka offers a very good accommodation to make your stay enjoyable and pleasant.

Short stay in Paradise

We had a wonderful, if short stay, at Villa Perka this July. The views from the villa were specatcular, the apartments very well appointed and clean and Vilma was an excellent host. While the town is very remote, it's easy enough to get to the major sites on Hvar by car or boat, and it's nice to get away from the relative hustle and bustle in Hvar Town. It is a short walk to the sea from the villa, though quite steep. There are some great hikes that can be done within walking distance, and some very cute restaurants in the town. We also enjoyed eating in one night and taking in the incredible views from our balcony. We would not hesitate to recommend Villa Perka to family and friends and hope to return again ourselves!

Wunderbar!

Wir hatten eine erholsame und schöne Zeit in Sveta Nedelja/Villa Perka. Das Apartment war sehr sauber, bestens ausgerĂŒstet (schnelles WLAN, Klimaanlage, Flatscreen TV) die Vermieter (Vilma ist mehrsprachig) herzlich und jederzeit um unser Wohl bemĂŒht. Hervorzuheben ist die wunderschöne Lage (ruhig, kein Massentourismus), das kristallklare Wasser und die StrĂ€nde, der tolle KĂŒstenweg (wandern, joggen, Mountain Bike fahren) zur Bucht Dubovica und die wohltuende, reine Luft. Wir können den Aufenthalt uneingeschrĂ€nkt empfehlen und werden wieder hier Urlaub machen.

Perfect paradise

Vila Perka was the best choice we could have made for Hvar. Yes, it is not near any big towns. Yes, the village has only less than a dozen houses and one minimart. But whenever we came back from exploring other parts of the island which were more populated or touristic, we felt as if we were really coming home. The walks up to a cave through the vineyard or down to the ocean were both beautiful and relaxing. The owner, Vilma, was most generous and kind, offering us many good tips and sampling of her homemade jams, soaps and olive oil which were all outstanding. A word of caution: Driving on some do the smaller roads on Hvar can be somewhat challenging; the roads are generally narrow and some are not paved. Many border a cliff; while the view is often breathtaking, the driver must always focus on the road. We are happy that we didn't visit during the summer high season. The thinner crowd means more enjoyment and safety. We'd love to return for another, longer, visit, and will surely choose Vila Perka again.
