It appeared that our room was just remodeled. New everything. Bed was comfortable with nice linens. The room was very clean. Halls were just painted also, & it looked like the hall carpets were getting a cleaning. The only negative was that the TV was a bit wonky. We found the guide, but don't know how. To lower the volume, we discovered that the button on the TV needed to be used, & channels were quite a problem to maneuver. However, clean is most important to us, & the housekeeping staff does a great job!

The ice machine was broken; the toilet was stopped up; the remote on the television didn't work; the room would not get to a comfortable temperature (too warm) and they charge a $30 pet fee that wasn't advertised. The Wi-Fi was fine.

Overall stay was good. First night the fire alarms went off at 12:10 a.m. due to someone smoking in one of the rooms while someone else was taking a shower.

Two rooms had broken door lock, the third room had a broken refrigerator, and the 4th room i was assigned had Cockroaches climbing the walls. I cancelled the rest of my stay and moved to a different hotel. This hotel is in very poor shape.

The staff are very sweet but sadly the attention to detail of cleanliness has slid since I stayed here back in 2018. Towel left in the room had hair stuck in the fibers, shower was missing its handle bar, the halls reeked of the smell of food cooking as though someone lived there.
