Our stay at La Quinta Indianapolis was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel, especially with one like La Quinta usually is. To begin with the door to the bathroom was nonfunctional sliding door sliding barn door didn’t slide. There was no stopper in the sink. In addition, the baseboard was in the sleeping area was torn asunder. Most importantly, there was no hot water the first day we were there. We were promised a $50 credit on our stay but it did not show up on our billing. We definitely want the $50 and we definitely want this review to be included in the review Reviews of the hotel. Our stay definitely influenced my choice of future hotels especially La Quinta. Sorry report this bad news but it is what happened.

A very tired hotel. The rooms are ok and somewhat fresh. Our air conditioning did not work. The breakfast was very weak as all of the serving equipment was so old and beat up. The elevator truly appears to a very dirty and unsafe situation. As you would expect at this level, the towels and sheets are very low quality and I was only able to get a warm shower. We stayed during the Indy 500 time frame and paid $400 for a $100 room which made conditions seem a little worse. Overall, about what you would and should expect from a 2 Star hotel

I hope my notes help to improve this property. It was my 2nd year in a row staying at this hotel. The rooms are nice, the location is great, accessible to the downtown’ main restaurants, and the parking is great. Nevertheless this year, we felt the experience was poorer: room was extremely noisy, with AC not cooling but sounding like a truck going uphill, and the exhaust in the bathroom loud as a race car. The bed sheets were not pristine clean. The lady in charge of the breakfast seemed to be more worried about her phone, letting coffee, cups and plates lacking, no replenishing the food (while still within time). Lastly, the strong scent of lavanda at the lobby and aisles with humid, saturated and stuffy air were not also pleasant. I really like this hotel and hope these notes can help the management make this place great as it was last time I was there.

When I arrived the AC in my room was not blowing cold air. It took hours of sitting in a 79 degree room before they would move me. The last 2 days there was not hot water at all, any time during the day. Good location but will not stay at this La Quinta again and I always stay at La Quinta.

Stay far away!

My door didn’t latch and a man was able to walk right into my room while I was sleeping. Even after moving rooms; the condition of the room was absolutely terrible. Do not come here.

It was the cheapest option downtown. The place stunk horribly, lots of ghettoness downtown too, did not enjoy, next time I'll spend the extra money and get someplace nicer

We had dirty sheets. We had an old cucumber left in our refrigerator. Hotel smells like mildew. Asked for extra pillows and blankets, we never got them. Breakfast was terrible. Horrible part of Indy
