House and rooms size are ok but it's freezing in this house, you can't turn off the A/C sounds silly for me to use so many power. No curtains in the rooms means you'll wake up very early during ummer.
As it's a old house you can hear your neighboors (TV, Stairs, Phone).
Breakfast = no hot food, toasts, bagels, bananas, dairies & energy bars so so for such price I feel.
Staff Helleen seems not very friendly with same sex visitors sharing a room no "Morning" during breakfast,
when check out : "it's was such a pleasure to have you here !" Seriously !!
My daughter and I stayed last minute when we went to a concert. It was quite charming and loved all the personal touches. Beautiful old house. Great innkeeper! She was very sweet.
The staff was great! They knew we were in town for a concert and they made it extra special by playing the artists music during breakfast and gave us each a small gift.
The staff was fine. The bed in the Willow Room was very soft and uncomfortable to the point that sleep was very difficult. We had a conference that started at 8;00 so we needed to eat breakfast promptly at 7:00 as advertised, only to not serving did not occur until 7:15, making us late to the conference session.... probably not return.
The stay was great! However we were only there one night! The only thing that could be better is having an option for something warm for breakfast. The Inn is in a goid locution! Nice historic area! Would like to stay longer next time.
Pros: cleanest place ever, beautiful property, easy check in, thoughtful/tasteful room design, easy entry. Loved the access to ice and filtered water. Nice pillows.
Cons: the best was VERY uncomfortable. Whenever one of us moved the other one rolled to the center of the mattress. The water pressure was extremely low in the shower. That might not bother everyone. Also, I was expecting a breakfast, rather than just a little continental. Itâs okay, itâs just not what Iâm used to from B and Bs.
