Let me start by saying that the place itself is very nice. New, modern, comfortable. It has SO much potential!!
The unsettling and very gross thing was that we found laundry falling out of the dryer, laundry in the washer, "stuff" scattered across the shelving in the master closet, messy piles of stuff (linens?) in the closet in the master bath, icky bottles of shampoo, etc., an almost finished bar of soap swimming in soap scum in the shower that had filthy shower doors, food remnants stuck to the fridge shelving, and greasy countertops. It was as if we had entered someone's home.
At least the beds had what I THINK was clean sheets and there were clean towels in the bathroom.
I attempted to contact the property manager over and over but the app kept saying "too many http requests". I was given no phone number. When I returned home I was able to email them. I sent a long email detailing everything complete with lots of photos. No response. After 2 weeks I sent another one. Crickets. I contacted them on the website from my computer (app still not working) and they said, and I quote, "What will you like to be done". No apology!!
I didn't want to write a bad review, and would not have if they had shown more caring in handling this. Clearly they don't really care. It's the most bizarre experience I've had in a VRBO. Hopefully, in spite of their callousness in handling me, maybe they will have fixed things and it will be better for the next renter.
