Accurate Reviews- Manage Expectations
We booked this property mainly for its location and initially gave the benefit of the doubt regarding negative reviews. Unfortunately, they were accurate. There were no garbage bags, paper towels, or backup toilet paper—we ran out by the first morning. The host was slow to respond but eventually provided the missing suppliesThe biggest issue was cleanliness. The kitchen floor was filthy—I ended up mopping it myself and the pad showed it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The counters were dirty,sticky and had ants crawling over them. Thankfully the bedding was clean, which we appreciated. The bedroom carpet, however, was disgusting and no one wanted to walk on it with bare feet. The toilet chain kept falling off, requiring us to repeatedly reach into the tank to flush. The dryer was missing the start button—the host implied it had been there before our stay. The maintenance man eventually came and simply popped off another buttonHouse and furnishings are very dated but that part was expected based on the accurate listing photos. The hot tub was on when we arrived but never got hot, as other reviews have mentioned. Pool keys and access cards didn’t work for any of the pools. Thankfully we got lucky, other guests let us in. The host seemed surprised, although many other reviews had the same complaint.All in all, if you’re considering this property, go in with realistic expectations. Location is the main asset here, but cleanliness and maintenance leave much to be desired
