We had the best extended family vacation at Villa Verbena! One of the highlights was absolutely the gated pool — it made us feel so confident having little kids. There was plenty of room for four generations, lots of hang out space and we just can’t speak highly enough. The only negative was for the size of the home the kitchen could use better stocking. It seemed like maybe things had disappeared over time as there were labels for items that didn’t exist? Very few pots and pans, no linens, limited bowls, etc. We did most of our cooking at home and may opt to bring essentials next time. We’d love to come back!

Perfect spot for a family reunion

Our family got together to celebrate my dad's 35th birthday. Family came from all over the country. This house was PERFECT! Comfortable accommodations, super spacious, incredible kitchen and pool, fun and games for everyone. There is even a piano and guitar! The young ones played in the pool, game room, basketball court, and huge lawn. The house came equipped with a cornhole, the ladder game, shuffleboard, and ping pong. We really had everything we needed. All we had to bring was food and drink. I would definitely come back. Check in and check out were super smooth. Communicaton with the host was efficient and easy.

MiraBella Getaway

After a last minute change in venues from Villa Verbena to Mirabella, our trip ended up being fabulous. AvantStay worked with us to get into another comparable property that was absolutely gorgeous. The property was exquisite and we believed was actually a better fit for our party than our original location. The grounds were immaculate and the house very clean. The concierge services offered were a huge plus and made our stay extra special. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Thanks for the request from VRBO. I have some confusion, however, about where VRBO begins and AvantStay ends? Who is in charge? Which web site do I trust? There were inconsistencies in the two sites that were and are going to be problematic.

Family Reunion 2022

Our property was originally was Villa Verbena until last minute repairs had to move us. We worked with Avant Stay on selecting a new property that had to work with our group of 23 people. We eventually got switched to “Mirabella” in the Indio area, larger property and a beautiful home. Avant Stay was awesome to deal with and made sure we were all taken care of. They provided everything we needed including extra blow up air mattresses and portable AC units to help cool down this large home. The estate was amazing with pool, lake and golf course. Highly recommend this property and Avant Stay for any future rental. Kristen was our concierge and went up and above our expectations! She is truly an asset to this company and made our stay so enjoyable! Thank you!

Had a great trip playing golf at PGA West! The house is very conveniently located being only 15min away from the house. The house was amazing plenty of room and the pool was great to cool off and relax by! The host was very nice and quick to help with anything needed! This is a great place to stay for some fun in the sun!

Perfect Spot for an 80th Birthday!

We rented Villa Verbena to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday with our family. The size was perfect for a large group of people. We felt at home inside the house, and it lended itself to a variety of activities, from watching March Madness, to playing shuffleboard and ping pong, to working remotely. The WiFi inside the house was excellent but was a bit sketchy the further away you got from the house (not surprising!). Most of the bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. The outdoor space was divine. The large yard hosted games of corn hole, spike ball, hide-and-seek and basketball. Most of our time, however, was spent by the pool and spa. Every door had a basket of rolled beach towels by it. The outdoor furniture was all comfortable, and there were plenty of lounge chairs around the pool for all of us to relax. One thing to know if you are renting Villa Verbena is that heating the pool is an extra charge. After the sun went down, we were visited every night by a family of cats. Perhaps the most exciting event was finding a tortoise hanging out near the pool. And, by the time we left, a hummingbird had built a tiny nest on the hammock. It was a true menagerie! Kristin with AvantStay was very responsive to our needs. Although I didn't have many queries, she responded quickly to the ones I did have. She also helped to arrange massages at the house which were really wonderful. We had a dinner catered through Iora Hospitality, as well, and that too was really good. Villa Verbena's location was ideal. We were within a mile of grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants. It is also just a short drive to the Indian Wells Tennis Center, Old Town La Quinta and El Paseo Drive. Despite being so close to all of that hustle and bustle, the house itself is tucked away in a very quiet and small neighborhood. This is such a great spot to vacation. We are hoping to make it a yearly trip!
