I have to say I was disappointed in my stay here. I booked a room because I didn't want to stay with family and this was right up the street from them. It's a new hotel so I thought it would be great. So, I was beyond disappointed when I got back later that evening, stepped out of the shower and encounter several roaches. Now in their defense, I was on bottom floor in a unit by the door and it is Florida BUT.... to see more than 1 was concerning. I don't know if they were brought in by another guest- that's possible or if the pest control folks missed a spot. All I know is my family lives in Florida, has pest control, older houses and NO roaches. If pest control is done the bugs that slip through should not be moving. They did switch my room when I called front desk, however, that bed was smaller and not very comfortable. I was going to extend my stay when I first arrived but decided to just stay with family instead. The ladies at the front desk where very apologetic when I shared my experience- the night guy that changed my room- not so much. He didn't get that roaches in my room was a BAD thing. I will say the location is perfect, it's close to downtown and you really can walk to a lot of things. Hospital is close. There is ample free parking. The lobby seemed clean. I didn't eat or get any coffee there, but I think there was a coffee pot in lobby but not in rooms. I can't say I will stay there again when I go visit.

The hotel and staff was great, for the price it was beyond expectation. The only reason I have 4 stars is because after a couple days I wanted the room clean and they said it was only for clients after 9 days. I think this was a little too much to wait for a clean but all the rest was awesome
