What a beautiful and peaceful place to be close to nature and rest. So clean, well stocked with amenities, and surrounded by gorgeous light and stars forever. Thank you!
Two weeks of sunsets and wildlife watching from the back porch! Clean, cute, and well maintained cabin; safe feeling property, welcoming hosts and animals! My very young granddaughters loved the farm tour. These hosts are in it for the love of sharing their space. A beautiful farm and fabulous hosts!
This is the perfect place to stay for a couple looking for a quiet weekend away. The host, Sandy, is very kind and genuinely interested in making sure you have everything you need for a great stay. There's a nice little kitchen that's well equipped, a gas grill outside that's ready to go, and Berea and Irvine are 30 minutes away if you decide to head out to shop and eat. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this host or this cabin to anyone.
Tips: An SUV is helpful to get to the cabin due to the gravel road, which can be a little rough in a couple of spots, and the stairs to the bedroom/loft could be challenging for those with mobility concerns.
I had a really great stay! Ive been trying to find a nice place where I can bring my dog on vacation, and this is it! The cabin is really cute and plenty spacious for the two of us. We went on several long walks and got to interact with some of the farm animals! Sandy is super nice and responsive to all messages! She even let me hold a piglett đ
Overall, I had a great stay. The Red Cabin in particular is secluded and private, it was an amazing place for a personal retreat and I will definitely be returning!
We've never been anywhere like this before, it was great! It really is secluded, a good distance off the road near one end of a 550 acre farm that's mostly forest. If we hadn't wanted to see any other people, that would have been very possible. But the owners are delightful and very friendly, and we really enjoyed getting to chat with them and learn about the farm.
The cabin itself was great for the two of us. It's very clean and looks like it was refurbished within the last few years, so everything is up to date and nice looking. The space is small, but cleverly organized so that somehow everything we needed was there.
We hope to visit again some time when the leaves are down so we can hike some more and get a better look at the rock formations in the hills that surround the valley.
Just back from our stay at Red Haven--it was the perfect spot to spend a weekend to recharge. The cabin was incredibly clean, scenery unbeatable and the brats we ordered from the farm were incredible. We can't wait to be back!
My husband and I, both in our 70s, made a roadtrip with our two dogs from Houston, TX We were seeking quiet seclusion, a place where we could rest and relax. Thus was perfect. No traffic, no sirens, no train horns, no news from the outside world. Serenity. Sandra and Martin were close if we needed them but never intrusive. Just what the doctor ordered.
