This lovely home is situated in such a quaint location - close enough to “town” but feels like you’re in the woods. And the peepers sang us to sleep every night. We don’t get a chance to use the pool, or the bikes, or the BBQ because it’s still early spring but the hot tub was a welcome oasis after a long day outdoors in the chilly fog.

Well appointed, lovely cottage in a quaint woodsy neighborhood. An excellent choice for a Fall long weekend. House was clean, well designed, comfortable, spacious. Hot tub was great and all linens, towels, cookware, furniture, electronics etc were high quality. Would absolutely stay again. Maria was attentive and helpful. We willBe back!

We had a great 5 night stay!Booking and communication with the host were easy and seamless. The house was spotless when we arrived with everything well prepared, including coffee! The towels and bedding were excellent and gave it a nice hotel feel.The property is quiet and peaceful. Our kids loved the community pool and most of the time we had it all to ourselves. The hot tub was a nice bonus. It was clean and worked perfectly.We couldn’t find the iron and the host had one brought over the next day. Very responsive. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

Perfect for us
3 retired couples looking to “get away” and spend some fun times together! We had chef Brenda make our dinner on our arrival day with a charcuterie board as well
 all delicious! Dinner at the Tides Inn the next night, excellent as well ! Shopped at Dandelion and the Antique Mall. Wish it wasn’t so hot out but that’s just the way it was
couldn’t spend time outside but we had wine and played games! Maria responds quickly if needed. We would definitely stay again!

Cute cottage in the woods close to everything! This rental has everything you need for cooking meals, beds w red re comfortable, & provides space to spread out. We had an issue with the hot tub water being green when we arrived but were told it was fine to swim due to balanced chemicals. Gross! We have a hot tub and know it would take days for the clear blue water you’d expect to have. However, owner was very responsive and pool giy came to drain and fix the hot tub water immediately. We enjoyed our stay.

Winter Get Away

This is an extremely relaxing place to get away over the winter. The house was lovely, exactly as described, and had all the comforts of home. Maria was so helpful with a small problem we had, and recommended a great dog friendly hike to boot!

Adorable house!

Perfect for our stay. We are in the wedding industry and good friends, so we shared the house together for a wedding we worked together at the Tides Inn. A wonderful welcome basket greeted us. The house had everything we needed; this Vrbo is going on the list for staying options when we visit the area again:)

A woodland dollhouse

Lovely cottage set in the woods with similarly designed vacation rentals nearby—but not too near. Well maintained, generously equipped and convenient to Irvington and a short drive to other eastern Northern Neck attractions. Perfect for me, my wife and our 9-year-old grandson. My only quibble is that I wish there had been a half bath on the main level. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Amazing!

Fabulous weekend reconnecting with family. Charcuterie Boards, and brunch of Quiche Lorraine and a fruit from Brenda was scrumptious. Absolutely recommend the Fig Jam, and pistachio goat cheese. A day is sailing with Clay from Sail & Adventure was memorable for many reasons with a beautiful day charter to Merrior. Maria, is great with communication and helping for a restful weekend. Simply Amazing! Thank you all.

Week Stay at Harmony Tides

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed using the two bicycles and the community pool. The house easily accommodated four adults and a dog. The house is situated within walking, biking and driving distance of restaurants and shops in Irvington and the Tides Inn. We would recommend this property to others!

Absolutely Perfect Stay

I wanted a quiet getaway with my family (my husband, 5 and 8 year old girls, and a 2.5 year old boy) and was interested in exploring some of the lesser-known parts of Virginia's coast. This cottage in the charming Vineyard Grove neighborhood of Irvington fit the bill perfectly. The porch, spacious garden and yard, and quiet neighborhood streets all make this property a good fit for families. The house was surprisingly spacious and the gorgeous doors and windows let in so much light. Three full bedrooms (and bathrooms) allowed us to spread out. The hot tub and wonderful area out back with comfortable furnishings and twinkle lights was a huge draw. We scootered and walked to the beautiful, tree-lined neighborhood pool daily (which we kept having to outselves) and also enjoyed walking the trail that connects the neighborhood, river access/dock, and pool. Some nice dining and shopping less than a mile away in Irvington, more shopping/dining as well as a town park in Kilmarnock, The Tides Inn nearby, and the impressive and Compass center kept us entertained. The beauty of this well-appointed and architecturally interesting cottage is only outmatched by all of Maria's thoughtful touches throughout-- the furniture is nice quality, the decor is both warm and modern. From cell phone charging jacks to night lights and sound machines, not a detail was missed. Not to mention communication with the host was always fast (often within a minute or two and at most an hour) which is really helpful. We felt at home right away and added an extra night to our stay!

Beautiful getaway

The property was beautiful. Anything you could need for cooking, etc., she had. The host was very responsive to any questions. It was really fun to have the use of the bicycles. There was a lot of wildlife around which was really cool to see. The hot tub was huge and amazing! Would definitely stay here again. It’s very peaceful and relaxing

Fun mini vacation

We all - 6 adults - loved the house. We were a little disappointed that there was no access or view of the creek in the back. The weather was disappointing but the house is big enough so we all had space and privacy when required. We did little cooking but the kitchen was well appointed easy to work in. The neighborhood was quiet and secluded. All in all we had a great time and would certainly recommend this property to others.

We love the area and have always been intrigued by the Tents! Glad we stayed and had a nice break! Only observation was the outdoor trash can was full when we arrived. Other than that, perfect!!! Thanks!
