Perfect Vacation

The House and our stay at Casa Banana was perfect. The house was decorated to perfection and the accommodations were ample for a large gathering of people. There was plenty of room for my 8 grandchildren and their parents. We plan to come back again in 2027 to Casa Banana! Thank you!

Fun Stay

First time to Isle of Palms and we had a great time. Casa Banana was fantastic and great for our family. Great location, well decorated, kitchen was amazing, very responsive to any requests we had, and easy to walk anywhere in town. We plan to return to Casa Banana in 2024!

Perfect house for a group at the beach

This was an amazing house for our group to stay. The location is perfect - easy access to the beach, in walking distance to restaurants & bars, and easy to get to. The house is very spacious, clean, and designed in quite a fun way. The host was great as well. Highly recommend!

Amazing

By far the best rental experience of our lives. Tina is awesome. Our kids won’t stop talking about the house. The pools and hot tub are pristine. The location is ultra convenient to everything. We plan to go back soon!

Best rental ever

The property was amazing! Exceeded all expectations and family friendly for everyone. There were 11 of us but honestly, house could probably sleep 25 as the layout of house was the best I have ever seen. More than enough kitchen space and plenty of seating inside and out. Will definitely be back. I highly recommend for all ages.

First family going bananas on Thanksgiving!

I was pretty stressed out because this is the first time we have gathered for Thanksgiving as a family. The house is laid out perfectly for us. Everyone had to contribute to making the dinner and we couldn't have done it without such an amazing kitchen!! 2 stovetops, 2 ovens, 3 refrigerators! So many beds! All of the crazy stuff on the walls to talk about. The pool table room was a great gathering place, as were the two big round tables. One for the puzzle and one for the Mexican Train games! The hot tub was also a wonderful place to gather. The pools were chilly but the Alaska kids were in it daily! Thank you for the stay. We already booked for next year. We would love to meet the owner if they would like to meet a crazy family next year!

The place and location was perfect as advertised. The kitchen area is large and well stocked with cookware and space for cheffing.The bed rooms were large and bathroom plentiful which is needed when you can house 20 people. That being said it should really say and allow 22 with the 11 beds.The kitchen not having basic seasoning is a major disappoint. We understand owners are worried about theft but the nickel and diming implemented because of this is annoying. (More to come later)On top of that not supplying adequate paper towels(even the cheap kind) along with toilet paper is so insulting. We aren’t paying 3-5 grand a night to have to buy our own toilet paper after traveling half way across the country.The edge of the pool was broken and cut my friends leg as he walked across it and it fell apart. You could tell this happened before due to the two different colors of cement glue on the under side.The last upsetting moves were the “no beach towels or beach chairs supplied”. Once again we are paying 3-5 grand a night to stay here. It should be within that budget to offer towels to customers. We understand fear of theft but still, Just include the cost in the security deposit in fear of losesLate check in and early check out really puts a damper on the vacation, we understand it’s a big house to clean but would be nice not to feel delayed on arrival/rushed out

Senior Citizens celebrating their 75th birthdays

A very fun place to stay. The furnishings and wall décor are incredible. We kept seeing and finding new things. View and access to the beach was beautiful. Very family oriented beach. We liked that...and the Jacuzzi....and the pool. Pretty expensive, but a once in a life time adventure for us.

Wonderful family trip

We had 17 family members, from Ohio and Colorado. The first time many of us have been together in 2 years, mostly due to covid. The house was great for all of us. Kitchen had plenty of space and everything you needed. The pool was great and very close to the beach. The house was clean and everything worked well. We were there mid July. The location was close to restaurants, bars and shops but very busy and crowded, especially on the weekend. The house sits right next to hotels and bars and the pier. That and a problem with ants around the pool( they come off the sand) are probably my two biggest complaints. Overall a wonderful house.

Beach Home Like No Other Home Away from Home

We've been back 2 weeks and are still talking about our stay at Casa Banana. The original plan was to be there last September, but Mother Nature changed our plans when the storm shut everything down. Thanks to the kindness and cooperation of the property manager (Tina Smith), we were able to re-schedule for the spring. After a quick and easy check-in, our group of 10 friends were blown away with the unique interior design of this home. We actually took more time than planned just to explore this amazing home and all of the amenities. Then it was a quarter-mile quick trip to pick up groceries and a 2 minute walk from the house to choose from 4 or 5 great places to grab dinner...everything is so convenient. We had couples join us for the first half of the week, then our adult kids and grandchildren for the last part of the week. Everyone (from age 2 to 72) found this house not only met our needs, but continued to amaze and amuse us on a daily basis, We had one minor issue with a grill (1 of 2 available), called for assistance, and it was remedied promptly with no disruption. We also used the service to have towels and sheets changed at mid-week with excellent results. We even rented a nice selection of beach toys for the kids. Tina made arrangements for us and the charges were very reasonable. We could offer more details about the home and the way it was decorated, but going to the website and viewing will be much more fun than reading our description. There is no doubt we will return to Casa Banana.

It is an amazing house, beyond my expectations!

It was an amazing week, the house was actually perfect in so many ways. The location was great so we could bike ride to the business district. For the twenty somethings it was next door to a bar where they were able to frequent and enjoy. The kitchen was beyond my expectations. We had every intent to eat dinner out every night, but the Kitchen was so well supplied and more than enough appliances that we ended up cooking dinner and eating in 5 of the 7 nights we stayed. The large beach was perfect and the pool gave us a place to play into the evening. We had a wonderful and memorable time and I would recommend this house without any hesitations. Just don't pick the week that I like to stay there. : ) The listing description was right on, and the property was very clean and well maintained. A few years ago we also stayed in Casa Flamingo and enjoyed it too!!

One of our favorite vacation homes ever!! We are repeat guests and will be so again. Beautiful spacious home with loads of fun furnishings and wonderful location. The pool area and outdoor decks are outstanding and all make for the perfect beach vacation. Casa Banana does not disappoint!!

You won't find a more perfect home to rent than Casa Banana, The house is beautiful--with dream bedrooms, huge gourmet kitchen. game room and lots of spaces to sit around and the enjoy the scenery and family time. You could spend a whole day just looking at the décor--it's that gorgeous. The pool was wonderful--plus Casa Banana is right on the ocean. It's close to shops, IOP Connector, restaurants and grocery store. You will love everything about it and will never want to leave!

Never Disappoints!

My husband and I were married in IOP a few years ago, and return each year to celebrate our anniversary. As part of this tradition, we stay in Casa Banana every year as we could not ask for a more perfect vacation rental! The location can't be beat - oceanfront with terrific views from all ocean-facing rooms, our own pool and hot tub to enjoy, and the fun of all the different themed rooms. The kitchen has recently been renovated and it is absolutely gorgeous! (would probably make a few Iron Chefs envious!) Plenty of plates, drinkware, utensils, pots & pans ... everything needed to create meals for a crowd. We didn't want to leave - it's simply paradise! Until next time!
