When I booked the listing, I knew the unit was outdated, but it was on the beach. We were staying for spring break and I thought it would be fine. Self Check-in was easy. Instructions were clear and it was very convenient to not have a key. Upon entering the unit, it was accurate to the pictures in the listing. But it was not as clean as I think a rental should be.The linens and towels were absolutely clean and freshly laundered. But the rugs and floors were not that clean - they may have gotten a once over but not thorough. And the walls and fixtures were dusty. The kitchen and bathroom were clean enough. We did not cook in the unit. We did store some food in the fridge. The shower is old school and the pull on the faucet doesn't stop all of the water so the water pressure from the shower is low at best. The beds were horrible. The queen in the bedroom sagged in the middle, very uncomfortable. The sofa bed in the living living room was hard as a rock. Lastly, we left a day early because there were cockroaches in the bathroom. They like to call them Palmetto bugs but they're still cockroaches.I did contact VRBO and the property management company and received a small refund. Overall, the service from VRBO was excellent and I would book through them again since it provides some insurance in case something goes wrong. It took some time for the property management company to respond. It was Easter weekend and they were closed for the holiday. Overall, the unit was disappointing
