We were disappointed with a couple items in the house that either didn’t work correctly or at all. I communicated the issues to the property managers and they suggested some ways for me to fix the problems, but in the end did nothing about it. There were some things that we couldn’t use, like the fireplace or elevator and a couple other things. It’s a big house so it worked for my family. I wouldn’t rent it again though.

Great Week in IOP

We have stayed in Wild Dunes in the past, but this location in Ocean Point took it to another level. House:- Immaculately clean, maintained, and updated- Bedrooms are roomy and each have their own bathroom (Master is great and has it’s own balcony overlooking the driving range)- Kitchen has everything you need and then some with an ice maker and multiple beverage fridges- Plenty of seating at the island, living room, and a huge dining room table- TVs all have fire sticks (great to stream your own services)Bathrooms are updated, large, and well appointed- Only downside is lots of steps (but that’s to be expected with a house of this size)- Garage is very big and clean, beach cart was a big helpNeighborhood:- Private, gated- Very nice pool facility- Beach access is a short walk down the street and over the dunes between holes on the golf course (5 minutes from door to shore)- Very close to the golf clubhouse- Downside is that the street is tight and can get tough to navigate with a big vehicle and during trash / landscaping days, or if other work is going on (Really not a problem though)Beach:- The beach access puts you out on the top corner of IOP- Much less crowded than the Eastern side of Wild Dunes beach access itself

Loved GIGIs beach house

Gigis beach house was perfect for our family of 9. We loved the large living area and kitchen where we could all be together but not feel cramped. We enjoyed the beach and going to the pool which was close by. The house was beautiful and the perfect size for us. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful vacation home

We had a wonderful family vacation at Gigis. The kitchen and living area were spacious enough for 6 adults and 4 children.Bathrooms in every bedroom was a plus. My granddaughters loved the pool being so close and the beach was a few minutes away. There are stairs to the main second floor and stairs to the third floor. You will definitely get your steps in! All in all a lovely home.

This home is spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculate. The porches have a nice view of the driving range and waterway, which has ducks, turtles and birds for entertainment. The kitchen is fully stocked, fun to cook in with family. The neighborhood pool is large and well maintained. We hope to visit again!

A Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Location

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Gigi's Beach House! The kitchen is large and well equipped enough to fix a holiday meal. The house was beautiful, and the layout worked well for our extended family. The high ceilings add openness but also creates long stair runs (the elevator is not available to renters). We thoroughly enjoyed the porches. The house has easy access to the pool and beach. The house managers were excellent in their communications. We would love to return!

Lovely, well equipped beach house

Our group of four couples had a fantastic stay at Gigi's Beach House. The setup was great with large communal areas and private baths for each bedroom, and the kitchen was well equipped. We brought beach gear but were pleasantly surprised to find more for our use at the house. Great location a short walk to a very quiet and private feeling section of beach. Communication with Steven was easy and helpful. Would stay there again for another adults-only trip or with our kids.

Family vacation

The house was very comfortable, well appointed, and clean. Loved how each bedroom had its own bathroom. Kitchen had everything for a family that cooks breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Loved the extra ice maker. Breakfast on the deck was wonderful. The wagon for the beach was oh, so helpful, too. Lovely home.

Terrible Experience with iTrip Vacations Charleston Beaches rental company

We finally decided to do our first whole family trip and four families saved our money to purchase this beautiful home in a gated community with a private pool and beach. We found out upon arrival that the pool/spa was shutdown from the CDC due to a lung disease and that we had no hot water in our house, along with many other issues. We immediately wanted a refund. iTrip has their own refund policy so VRBO cannot do anything about it. I just lost $8000. Don’t book any properties from iTrip!!!

Great for families

This was a great location for our family vacation. Plenty of room for everyone. It was also close to the beach which was a great bonus for us. The pool was also near by and was great as well. Just be warned there are a lot of stairs, you will definitely get your workout. They also had plenty of beach toys and things for us to us so we didn’t have to fly with it.

Beautiful Home!

The house is gorgeous and looks just like the photos. We were a group of 5 and we had so much room to spread out but also loved that we could all hang together in the kitchen/living space and on the porch. The beach and pool are both steps away, and getting around IOP and into Charleston was very easy with our rental car but also with accessing Ubers when we did not want to drive ourselves. Highly recommend booking for a relaxing, comfortable stay!

Exceptional property!

My family and I recently stayed in this beautiful home. It was exactly as listed and more. Home was very clean and comfortable. The beds and linens were top notch. Communication was amazing. We were to arrive the evening Hurricane Idalia was hitting and we received texts advising us to get there before the winds got to bad and shut down the bridge. We also received a text that the home was available prior to 4 pm check in. Home was stocked with everything we needed, including stuff not listed. Two wine fridges, below cabinet nugget ice maker. We did have 2 sitings of the local alligator and were thrilled to know the "history" behind him. Pool, hot tub were so close and we enjoyed relaxing after playing 18 holes of golf right there on property. If I had to say one negative thing it would be beach chairs were limited. This is clearly stated in the listing and it was the end of the season so we did bring our own. This in no way impacted our rating of the home. Would have paid extra security to be able to use the bikes and elevator but totally understand why they were off limits; however, there was bike rentals nearby. Thank you for a wonderful stay, would HIGHLY reccomend this property!

Wonderful property and a great vacation!

We were really looking forward to this vacation and thought the house looked great in the pictures, but frankly they don’t do it justice — it’s an immaculate, beautifully set up house that is perfectly set up for a week away with a few families. The interior was sparkling clean, the furnishings all felt new and high quality (especially in the kitchen!), and it was just a few minutes walk to both a nice neighborhood pool and a private beach with few other people on it. The property managers were highly communicative and responsive as well — clearly a professional and considerate group. The only minor issue to consider is that this house is at the far end of a community on the tip of the island, so it takes a few extra minutes to get anywhere, but given how Isle of Palms is laid out it takes a while to travel places anyway, and it’s not a knock on the property at all. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and would encourage anyone interested in IOP or Charleston more broadly to do the same!

Spring break with mom

We rented Gigi's beach house for my wife to take our college aged daughter and 4 of her friends on spring break. My wife loved that the house was well appointed and maintained with a fully stocked kitchen. She was able to work remotely each day and take long walks each afternoon. The girls loved that it was so close to the beach and to a pool/hot tub and each evening they could also get dressed up and go find dinner. Awesome place in a great location!

Couple’s Trip

We had an amazing time at GiGis Beach House. The home was very well kept, and we would definitely stay here again. We had some issues with the hot water, but the property manager was very prompt in correcting this. It would have been nice if the elevator was in use, but I can completely understand why it’s not for guest use. Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing stay.
