Highly recommended in Old City, amazing!

This place was absolutely incredible. To our surprise we were immediately upgraded on our first stay! We had a beautiful large room with a view of the Hagia Sofia Mosque that was unbelievable. Loved all the different eating options and the green house cafe. Thank you to the employee named Emirhan for picking us up, carrying our very heavy luggage, and speaking with taxi drivers on our behalf. Thank you to the lovely lady at the front desk who welcomed us and left us with cultural traditions.

The staff was extremely helpful and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. It is the perfect location to see all of the main sites in old Istanbul. Everything you want to see is within walking distance. Be aware though that the hotel is next to the Hagia Sofia Mosque so you will hear the call to prayer early in the morning (6:15 ish when we were there). That being said it is all part of the experience of being in a totally different culture. I generally don’t write reviews but this place exceeded our expectations. The staff we interacted with and deserve recognition are Bechet, Emirhan, Fatih and Wai.

Everything about the property is unique. The 17 mansions and houses comprising the hotel are situated around one of the most famous streets in Istanbul, behind the Hagia Sophia and abutting the Topkapi Palace.

Staff was fantastic. Rooms were very nice and comfortable with great amenities. Also the Cappuccino in the hotel was the best in the immediate area. Quite nice, and convenient. We also enjoyed waking up to the call to prayer each morning ( a bit earlier than we would have liked, and the first morning it caught us off guard... but quite nice once we got used to it) Far better than an harsh Alarm Clock.
