Upon arrival, the hotel manager informed us that there was a “major plumbing issue” and that we would have to be relocated to a different hotel for two nights. However, it became clear that the property was overbooked and the explanation provided to us was dishonest. Despite the manager’s assurances that special accommodations would be made for the inconvenience, no such accommodations were provided. This situation caused significant hardship. After traveling internationally for over 12 hours, we arrived to find no available room at the property we had reserved. We were forced into alternative arrange.
