My second time staying at The Anvil, and was a pleasure to stay here as always and great value for money. As a female solo traveller this place was convenient and walkable to the main town square (no long walks in the dark, not that you really need to worry in Jackson). It is more of a motel in terms of how rooms are laid out but I always felt safe. My Wi-fi wasn't working on arrival but a quick call to the front desk and they cleared it all up and got it working. They had free coffee in the lobby with a warm and cosy seated area and a WC - great if you're killing time before or after check out. They have some drinks and snacks in the rooms but at a price. As a lot of other reviews state, the parking is very limited and is first come first serve, I've personally never had a problem getting a space but they do recommend street parking too if need be. Another quick gripe is the noise level. The problem was more the neighbours stomping along the landing outside at 2am but you can hear next door if their TV or voices are above normal. On another note; Should you ever need it, Doordash also deliver here too. I suffered awful food poisoning (from a restaurant in town) and being alone and from UK, I felt a little vulnerable. But after ordering my body weight in meds and water, the friendly staff showed the dasher the way to my room and was back on my feet in 24hrs. What a gem :) Like always - I would recommend this hotel.

The motel is quaint but nice. Walking distance to all downtown restaurants and stores. Parking is very problematic. If you don’t get one of the few on site spaces, you’re parking a few blocks away. Lobby and coffee bar are nice. Staff Ed very helpful.

3 day stay in Jackson hole.

The staff was very warm and welcoming. The room lacked the proper lighting and felt very dark and coffin like. The thermostat on the wall that was supposed to control the air conditioning did not control anything. I had to remove the decorative screen surrounding the air air-conditioning system. Every time I wanted to modify the temperature or the fan speed both of these things seem like they’re very easy to fix. I would also add more outlets or USB ports for people to charge their devices. Currently there isn’t a single USB port in there and very minimal outlets to plug into.

Ground floor room with bed, table and chairs, and private shower was clean and comfortable. I could hear the family upstairs walking and talking but at least it wasn't all night. I would stay here again for the location, convenience, and comfort, but the standard price is too much for this solo traveler.

Comfortable bed and large shower. Perfect for our overnight in Jackson. Longer stays may want to investigate alternatives. Parking availability is the only downside, but if you are able to walk a block with luggage, there is street parking and a public lot adjacent to the hotel (it has limited spaces)
