This lodge was very expensive. The cabins were okay, but not worth over $300 a night. There is a restaurant on site and it was not good. We got soup the first night and it was very bad. Also, pricey. I know things close to Yellowstone are expensive, but I feel the rooms should be checked everyday to see if we need more coffee, which we did, or anything else. I would not stay there again.
We loved the property, but the outdoor lighting needs improvement. We arrived late both nights we stayed there, so we had to park on the far end of the gravel lot. At check-in, we were cautioned about a bear on the property. It was so dark that one could easily have been surprised by us. Other than this, we loved it all. The staff was very kind. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Very clean.
