Steps from the beach

Great location. Clean studio works for one or two people. Bathroom a bit too small. Love the idea of the privacy area just outside our door. However it need some loving care. Mildew in the hammock and table and chairs need attention. Wished a washer and dryer were available. But our stay was fine. The studio was great.

It was pretty good

Overall the property is really nice there are a few touches that need to be touched up which as the shower head where the ac unit is on the wall needs to be touched up and repainted and a couple pieces of trim but we enjoyed our stay greatly.

Cute Cottage Needs Attention

Initial impression was good although I missed in the listing that this was a one room cottage with bath and toilet. I knew the windows faced the parking lot but did not expect guests from the other building to park in front of the windows and then stand outside smoking and talking so loud I could have participated in their conversation. We had plumbing and pest issues that were quickly, efficiently and compassionately addressed by the management company. Overall the cottage was very clean but the empty cracker wrappers under the bed certainly added the pest problem. It was unusual that as a guest I was advised that garbage can needed to be taken to the curb. The kitchen was well stocked and did not miss having a stove/oven since the toaster oven worked great. Amble supply of linens and bed was comfortable. The location was great with easy access to restaurants. As long as the cars were not parked in front of windows, you could sit outside and watch the waves. Don't know that I would return but we rarely stay in the same location twice.

Great Location

This is a small quaint unit in a great location. TV good Adequate small kitchen with a good range of equipment. No teaspoons were provided. The shower & toilet are very small & water flow poor. We had 2 cold nights (3c) & no heating only a fan that blew cold air.

Great location, but not perfect

If you are looking for a cheap stay close to the beach this is your place. However you need to overlook a couple of things. 1. the window overlooks the parking lot and the curtains barely cover it up. The place feels cramped. 2. I did not appreaciate a leaky roof! When we checked in, it poured down in Jacksonville and there was a leak inside. The owners must have known about it and still rented the place, because the next day roofing stuff showed up on top the property. Not cool. Overall - I would spend more money and stay in a hotel. We checked out early and never looked back.

Quaint Cottage

The cottage was clean, the checking process was very smooth and easy, and the location was fantastic. Just a few feet away from the beach. My husband and I stayed for three days and it was perfect!

Cozy Beach Cottage Getaway

This was all we needed for our beach time in Jacksonville Beach. It truly was seconds from the beach! We enjoyed sunrise and some sunny days at the beach. We would stay here again! It was a lovely little place! Everything was easy from check in to check out!

Exquisite location!

What a gem. Although the cottage is small it's well-appointed. It was clean and modern, and it had everything we needed. We had an awesome experience. Hopefully, we'll be back in the fall. It would be nice if the owner can add things like a mattress topper, fluffier pillows, hangers, and an outside light.

Review of Jax Beach Cottage

Location very convenient - beach steps away. Lots of restaurants and gas stations nearby. Very clean when we checked in. My biggest complaint is that there was little space to hang clothes and there were no hangars supplied. In addition, shower and bathroom were very small. Parking there can be a little crowded but we could always find a space. On the last night there a pipe broke - the shower didn't work and there was a running leak outside

Adorable, private, and clean! This little cottage had everything my husband and I needed for our trip to Jax Beach. Just as expected, steps from the beach. Walking distance to coffee shops, lunches and shops. Great safe area to go for a run.

Highly Recommend. BEST experience

Me and my partner stayed here for our 6 year anniversary. It was a short trip, but one of the best we have ever had. The location of the property was perfect. We walked to every dinner we had. The hosts of this VRBO were extremely accommodating by allowing an early check in and getting back quickly to messages. Everyone we spoke to and met with was amazing. The best experience i have ever had with a host. 10/10 recommend booking!

Totally worth it

We were in town for my daughter’s graduation and loved this beach bungalow. Very spacious, the linens and towels were fantastic. They also provide beach towels and they were super thick and high end, not the typical crappy beach towels. WiFi was fast, as promised, so I was able to work without issue. Plenty of hot water, the bath tile is a blend of stone, ceramic and glass and it came together really well. No question, if we make it back to Jax Beach we are staying here!

Perfect Beach Bungalow

Perfect property for a couple! Steps away from the beach & a short drive to many restaurants & bars. VERY clean, great privacy & great communication with property manager. Everything you need for a perfect stay at the beach was provided. Being able to park right next to the unit was also a huge bonus. Definitely interested in staying again!
