Poorly designed

This room had the worst layout I’ve ever seen. There’s hardly enough space to walk around the bed without banging your leg into the base of the bed. The walls were at a weird angle, felt way too closed in, in a claustrophobic way. One wall was covered with a super-ugly wallpaper that looked like a huge close-up photos of a camera lens, or something. Entering the room in the dark was hazardous— no motion-detector nightlight to help you see your way in, and no obvious, easy-to-find light switches on the walls. The furniture was hideous! Who designed this place?!

My daughter and I had reservations. We we're very excited to stay at this hotel because we were going to shop and stay in the area the next day. We were greeted and treated so horribly by a front desk clerk named Lashun. We weren't sure where to park because along the building was full and we didn't want to get towed from the wrong spot, especially in the middle of the night. He argued with us instead of telling us where we could park. He kept saying over there. The places I pointed out he said I could probably get towed. This guy should not be working at the front desk representing any company! He had a bad attitude. He made sure he told us he had a sales degree. Think he needs to go back to school and take a class on how to treat people.

The evening check-in person, Betty was very snippet and rude during my check-in. I would think that as a hotel employee, she would be polite and accommodating to the customer. She could have at least pretended to value my business! Because of this treatment, it put a negative opinion on the entire experience. The hotel and the room itself was very nice, but I would not stay here again because of the check-in experience.
