When we arrived and checked in our rooms were not clean. The couches in both rooms were filthy, counter-tops were not wiped off, open bottle of soda in one room and wall paper was coming off of bathroom walls. Even the Lobby had deferred maintenance and was not clean. We immediately left as we would not stay there. the Desk Clerk was not at the counter-so we left our room keys and called later to tell him that we did not stay and why. We re-booked another room through Expedia - which was a hassle. Their Agent sent me to another Agent who said that I was required to pay for my new room in two payments because of the discount they were giving me. $340 for two rooms plus another $200 was not a discount. I discovered that I had a reservation for the new hotel and the hung up on the second agent that wanted $200. So the Expedia Agent was collusive with an Agent at Reservations@air-ticketing.com. I will never use Expedia again. Hyatt Place Jacksonville Airport had high reviews which were also fake. I am asking for a refund of $239.93 for the rooms I did not occupy on April 8TH. Everyone is giving me the run around. Not to mention the fact that they were asking for two payments for the new booking leads me to believe this is a bogus operation and will be reported to the Attorney General.

We stayed at the hotel the previous week. We really like the comfort of the room and the staff is very friendly. Having a few food options for a late arrival is great. The only thing we didn't like the 2nd stay was the carpets were very damp and it smelled bad in the room. We were tired so we just stayed in the room. I would change rooms the next time if that happened again. Again, the staff downstairs was very friendly and helpful.
