Close to lots of small restaurants but room looked nasty, holes all over blanket none of the outlets held chargers. Door did not have the extra safety lock.
there are no shopping options - no restaurants nearby, not even a coffeemaker in the rooms. The light bulbs blinked, fridge was warm, the front window (bulletproof glass) was covered in signs - no this no that. the desk staffer (young woman) made me wait outside ten minutes despite driving 4 hours to get there: no restroom facilities. She sat there & stared at me til 3 pm. I left without even trying to get my money back b/c the door had no deadbolt lock & no room with a lock was available. A real flophouse.
I honestly didnât know that motels like this existed in America. All of the nice places were booked up for MNF so I went with this place. I expected it to be a little run down but not awful. I was surprised. It was so bad it was kind of funny. They can keep my $50. They need it more than me. If I had a sleeping bag I would have slept in the woods before I climbed into that bed. I just drove the three hours home after the game. Overall Iâm glad I did it bc the story alone is worth it. The girl in the office behind the bullet proof plastic was pretty cool.
