An amazing find! Everything you needed for a get away - well appointed property. Kent was wonderful to work with. The location is perfect for tennis, beach and shaded walks. The unit has great light and the vaulted ceilings makes it feel so spacious. We will be back to this property for sure.

In the trees

Very nice one bedroom condo in an ideal location. Walking paths everywhere to the beach, tennis and pickle ball. Felt like we were in the mountains but a 10 minute walk to the beach, best of both worlds. We will return!

Charming condo with Beautiful

This is just what we needed! Short 10 min walk to the beach, primarily under beautiful oaks. The kitchen window has views of the pool. Beautiful windows throughout. The bed and sofas were very comfortable. Everything was clean. It was well stocked. The host was responsive. We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a gorgeous part of the beach with white sand. Just bring your water shoes, when you get in the water, as there are small rocks. It’s a serene location in the gated Omni entrance. One suggestion for improvement would be to include the address to the maned gate, in the directions and also indicate it’s the Omni entrance. We had lost internet connection and could not reach out to the host via email. My husband saw a UPS driver, who helped us get to the right entrance, while I called VRBO. It all worked out well and the host was responsive when VRBO contacted him. Also, if the patio and chairs were swept off, that would have been one final improvement. There was a broom in the closet, so we handled that quickly. Thanks again. Wonderful place. 5 stars. We will be back. If you are looking for a place to get away in a tranquil Florida escape, this is your place.

Great location

My husband and I spent 14 days here. We used this property as a “home base” for traveling around the NE Florida/SC, Georgia areas. The location on Amelia Island is great
lots of areas to walk, the beach/ocean is about 1/2 mile walk, groceries, gas, good restaurants are close. The townhome is on the second floor, with one of the top stairs being different from the others
you need to be aware and careful going down. The bed pillows aren’t good, and the sheets are polyester
. BUT
 there is a beautiful, very expensive large mirror in the bathroom that makes you look better than you are!! (That alone is worth a stay!!). We very much enjoyed our stay, thought this was a good dollar value!

Great condo,

Only subtracted a point due to proximity of pickle ball, but otherwise great condo, well appointed. Easy check-in/check out. Recommend this host and property. Reasonable host fees, too. I know the town and area well and chose this over a luxe hotel in the area to attend a friend’s party.

Beautiful & lovely spot in Amelia Island

We really enjoyed our stay here - it was clean, beautiful and in a good location where we could walk to most places we needed. Just a heads up that it is right near one of the tennis courts so I did hear them out there early one morning - but I’m a light sleeper so may not be a factor for some - the bed was very comfy so it wasn’t an issue, just something we didn’t realize when we’d booked. Overall we had a great visit and would definitely stay again if we come back to Amelia Island!

Wedding visit

This place was great and even though Florida had rain every day. The stay, surrounding areas and our daughter's wedding was perfect. It is up stairs and very quiet peaceful but had everything we needed. Kent was quick to respond to all questions. If we ever come back to Florida we will stay here.

Nice condo

We arrived of course we did not read the directions that well easy to get lost in the maze lol. Put everything in the condo and my 2 shih tzu’s went to help my husband and both our phones locked inside the condo Oh No! So I’m freaking out because I have no phone no passcode couldn’t remember and my two babies locked up. Thank goodness we had the keys to the car. So what did we do thank goodness they have a gate with a guard we explained to them the situation to the guard she was really nice and helpful she called VRBO and they got the code. Hurray! Kent our agent was very helpful and right there with us just a call or text away he responded quickly. House is just like the pictures. Clean and beachy. The bed is comfortable I was impressed with how open this little condo is you walk in the ceiling is high makes it look more spacious. Nice break from home a couple of days we only live an hour away from the condo but just wanted a different change of scenery. Very quiet ! Very affordable when the Omni is right there and that’s $500 a night. Would recommend to anyone who wants a little getaway.

Terrific experience!

This condo is an easy place to stay due to the great communication with Kent and its affordability. The condo is clean, well appointed and roomy, the bed is comfortable, the linens/towels nice, and there is lots of natural light. We liked how quiet it is there unless pickleball sounds bother you since it is near the courts, but we found it to be quiet on the inside and at the pool. The location was excellent for us with a 10 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to the tennis courts and gym. We found the complex itself quiet with a nice pool and nobody else there. We would definitely stay here again.

Summer Getaway to Amelia Island

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful week staying in this beautiful condo in late July/early August 2023. The kitchen had everything we needed. We prepared several meals, and we found all the pans and utensils we needed in the cabinets. To our surprise we even found coffee in the cabinet! We loved the large living/family room with the high ceilings. It was so comfortable and with all the windows it let in so much light! I really enjoyed relaxing by the beautiful pool. You could take a swim and then lie out in the sun and then move into the shade when you got too hot. Also, the condo is located on the Omni Resort property and the grounds were well maintained. We brought our bikes and enjoyed using the bike trails on the property. We had a great staying in this villa on Amelia Island!

This property is on the grounds of the Omni hotel. You do need to go through a gate to get there, but once you're on property it's perfect for walking bike riding beautiful beach. Everything's accessible. Makes it quite nice. Lots of restaurants too

Two Weeks in Paradise

My husband, daughter and I (and dog) had an absolutely wonderful stay at “Serenity by the Sea”. Perfect accommodation for us! The upper level villa/unit felt very spacious due to the high vaulted ceiling, skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows. Coupled with views of palm trees, other large majestic trees with Spanish moss on one side and tennis courts on the other, the getaway provides both tranquil and/or action views—whichever you prefer! Nice, relaxing veranda/deck with good size table/chairs. Lovely nautical interior decor, beautiful bedroom with smart TV, great spacious main living area with sofa sleeper and big screen smart TV, ample bathroom, dining area, kitchen, appliances, beach chairs, towels, linens etc. Kent, the owner, provides all necessary items, and then some! Excellent communication—Kent always responded quickly to any inquiries etc. Nice outdoor pool, only a 10-12 minute walk to a spectacular beach (highly recommend experiencing a sunrise!) and several close-by golf courses. Beautiful walking paths. Many good restaurants, supermarkets, spas and shops close-by. Love downtown Fernandina Beach—a charming, friendly town (and dog-friendly!). I could go on and on. But I will close by saying I highly recommend “Serenity by the Sea” as a wonderful vacation spot. I concur with another review stating “you won’t want to leave”!
