Unfortunately, the hotel had people either living there or staying for more than a week or so. More on the lower income side. Several walking around the facility. However, they appeared to be quiet and respectful of other visitors.

To start off by saying the front desk staff is amazing and very polite and very nice and efficient at their job. The outside of the property has cigarette butts and cigar tips all over the place. You can definitely tell no one cleans up the outside of the property or empties the trash cans. The elevator smells like someone threw up in it, and they did a precursory cleaning. Sunday morning when we took the elevator down to leave for work there was a pile of dog feces in it Extended suite hotels went from being a place where tradesmen that work on the road can go and have a kitchen to cook and a nice decent place to get a good nights rest in, to attracting unsavory people that live week to week out of hotels because they can’t keep a residence of their own and they treat it as such. WoodSprings and extended stays, went from being great places for workers to stay during the week 10 years ago to being seedy places for shady people and illicit activities. These type of people don’t stay at Springhill hotels because of the price difference. Also, we were on the third floor and after 6 PM our entire floor reeked of marijuana every night even though obviously it’s a non-smoking hotel as most of them are nowadays if I could give it five stars based on the staff alone I would, but the rooms are very clean, I just can’t guarantee the people above you or beside you give a damn that you may have to get up and go to work at 6 AM because they probably make their money illegal ways.
