Great place to stay in Jaco

Great place to stay just outside of the main road. It's about a 15min walk into town or an Uber for hot days for $3.5. The breakfast is a large size and the vibe is super relaxing. Would stay here again.

All the staff was very friendly and spoke both Spanish and English, which was nice. It was funny that they had to close a refrigerator with bungee cords because the raccoon got in at night so I actually waited up in the middle of the night to see if any came around, but unfortunately, I waited up all night long and no raccoons The pool was clean and very nice for a dunking pool, but very tiny for any kind of laps that it was perfect for the size of the property They were very protective of people that came on the property and Nikki and Francisco, we’re very conscientious, and on time every day with their duties and especially the proprietor woman owner, whom I will not disclose for privacy concerns was especially sweet!

The Casa Jungla Hostel is a beautiful place, with a lush forest, and nice areas (and hammocks) to hang out in. The hosts are nice, although their English is limited, the breakfast is good, and there's lots of coffee. It is in a good location, a bit south of the main stretch of Jaco, so it is quieter, but the beach is nearby and nice. However, the rooms (at least the one I was in) are small, dark and not really well furnished - although for the price, I guess that's the best I could expect.
