Mein Strandhaus befindet sich im Zentrum von Jaco Beach, einen Block von der Hauptstraße entfernt, mitten in der Innenstadt von Jaco. Nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu 3 LebensmittelgeschĂ€ften, 2 Banken und 30 Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, aber dennoch ruhig und privat gelegen.
Auf unserem GrundstĂŒck am Meer können Sie das konstante Rauschen der Wellen hören und die Meeresbrise spĂŒren. Wir haben einen schönen Pool direkt am Strand, um zu entspannen oder um Freunde und Familie zu unterhalten.
Oft kann man die scharlachroten Aras, Tukane, Gekos und natĂŒrlich die grĂŒnen Leguane von der Unterkunft aus sehen.
Das Haupthaus besteht aus 2 Schlafzimmern und die anderen 4 Schlafzimmer befinden sich neben dem Pool und sind durch einen schönen Blumengarten mit ĂŒber 100 Pflanzenarten vom Haus getrennt.
Dieses Haus ist sauber, komfortabel und sehr gepflegt, hat neue Fliesenböden, neue KĂŒchenschrĂ€nke mit GranitoberflĂ€chen und neue KĂŒchengerĂ€te. Alle Schlafzimmer haben eine Klimaanlage fĂŒr Ihren Schlafkomfort und alle Betten sind Kissenmatratzen mit 300 Laken
Der Nationalpark Manuel Antonio ist nur eine Autostunde vom Haus entfernt, wo Sie verschiedene Affen, Baumfaultiere und wunderschöne weiße SandstrĂ€nde sehen können.

The property was great, especially for a large group. The location was on the beach with everything else nearby including a beachfront restaurant out the back gate as well as surf breaks and board rentals. The host is responsive and very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Went on a group vacation and had a great time. Great property, a little on the rustic side, but clean and located perfectly to enjoy the area. It was central to everything. From the outside, it seems concerning as you approach it for the first time, but as you enter, you are transported into your own private jungle. It is hidden well. The pool was great, the housekeeping staff was always checking on our needs, we didn’t need much. Steve communicated with me before I arrived and arranged for transportation. (Adrian was a great driver and source of information) We will probably never return, as we choose new places and adventures every year, but if you are going to Jaco, this is a great place to stay. Do ask the housekeeper, Veruska, and the driver, Adrian, for places to eat and activities to participate in during your stay. We never got to meet Steve (Owner), but big thanks to him for the great support folks while we were there. Pura Vida!

Property was excellent! Clean and well maintained. Hosts were prompt to answer any housekeeping requests. Plenty of flora for a calm, pleasant, "muy tranquilo" vibe. Will definitely stay again!!!

A trip of a lifetime

We had an amazing time at Casa Iguana Verde. The property owner and his crew have done an amazing job preserving the natural environment. We saw Macaws, iguanas, lizards, crabs, hermit crabs, and other exotic birds on the property, thanks to the lush native trees and plants. It’s a short walk to many great restaurants, coffee shops, Grocery stores, and shopping. You can find opportunities to surf, go horseback riding, or get a massage right outside the gate on the beach. We loved the pool!!! We had an amazing chef Dennis with Bella Vist Cocona prepare a few amazing mealsfor and had Jaco Fresh deliver some groceries before our arrival. I highly recommend a trip to Tortuga island and the Mangrove monkey tour. This was such a memorable trip, Jaco served as an amazing first time in Costa Rica location. Pura Vida

Green Iguana Beach House

The property was beautiful and location superb. Steve was extremely helpful before and during our stay. The shoreline was rocky in areas but the water and sunsets were gorgeous. Perfect place for a big group. My family and I would stay here again.

2025 Family Vacation

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children thoroughly enjoyed this property. The owner, Steve, was always available, but not intrusive. The property was clean and had all that we needed for a wonderful week. Great access to town and beach. 10 out of 10--couldn't be beat. Beautiful landscaping and jungle murals really gave a Pura Vida vibe!!

Guys Fishing Trip

Our group consisted of five guys there for a deep sea fishing trip. The accommodations were perfect as we all had a private room with its own bathroom. The common areas were very spacious and clean. The pool and surrounding gardens were maintained daily. Also the property is heavily protected with locking gates to the street and beach. We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay and had a great time. The host and staff are wonderful. The location is terrific right on the beach with your own pool and 10-minute drive to a marina to go deep sea fishing.

Winter vacation 2025

Our stay at the Green Iguana beach house was great! The location couldn't be more suitable for getting to everything that you need in town and you are right on the beach for beautiful sunsets every evening. We had Dennis and Meliny cook dinner for us one evening they are the Chef's that Steve recommended from Bella Vista Cocina. The food was excellent! Steve and his housekeepers kept the place spotless. He was a great host we hope we can make it back there soon evening

Location was great, specifically if you're into beach things. Grocery store in walking distance was helpful. Owner was helpful when required. Had staff cleaning the place every day and offered to do laundry for us as well. Place is showing its age a bit, but all in all it did the job for our crew of 11.

Excellent place to stay

The Green Iguana is amazing! The location is perfect right in the middle of everything and easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, grocery stores and liquor stores. The entry to the alley is a little sketchy at certain times of the evening/night, but no one ever bothered us. The patio, pool and ocean crashing behind the fence make this the perfect place to just chill and have a cocktail or dinner. The owner, Steve was very responsive and helpful, answering all our questions and arranging transportation for us. May and her sister were awesome helping us out when we needed it and keeping everything clean and tidy. We will definitely be back!

Lovely Property

The home in Jaco Beach was the perfect size for our two families. Our host was friendly and responsive. The pool and beach access was convenient and fun. The only detractor was the “adult” transactions occurring at the end of the driveway/street. It was sad and stressful to walk past any time we left the house.

July Family Vacation

Steve and the housekeeping were excellent. They was prompt with responding to all the request we had while there. There was a total of 11 of us and all accommodations were up to par. Initially we were shocked because of the activity on the side street but throughout our stay there we had no worries or concerns with the nightlife activities. We also had an amazing night out on the town with the lady’s that’s take care of the upkeep for the property.

2024 Boys trip

Entire vacation was fantastic. Host / owner and staff could not of been more friendly. Location on the beach, two buildings with multiple bedrooms, common gathering areas and pool made this vacation a huge success for my six buddies and me. The location was very close to the adult activity, casino, stores and restaurants. Special thanks to the property staff. They worked hard and always seemed to have a smile and positive attitude.

Stop and Book

What a perfect location! The house is in the heart of Jaco and pretty much walking distance to everything in town. Steve was a fantastic host. Super responsive during the booking process and was always available throughout our stay. He made us feel right at home and made sure we knew everything about the house and the neighborhood. The house and property are very well maintained. Direct access to the beach is an added bonus. The housekeeping service was fantastic. Steve also recommended Dennis and Melanie for private dining services. They were amazing! The food was excellent and they made sure we were taking care from the second we contacted him. We ended up booking them for two dinners and a breakfast because and regretted not booking them for the length of our stay! Highly recommend their business Bella Vista Cocina if you are looking for private dining service! We will be taking cooking classes during our next stay. Overall our trip was fantastic! Jaco Beach House

The house is hidden down an unkept alley which was concerning upon arrival. Otherwise, it was exactly as advertised! The rooms were clean and the location was perfect for our group. We had direct beach access with restaurants & clubs literally next door. You could sit in the back and listen to the ocean or turn on the pool waterfall and be in a private oasis. The house is secure and we never were worried about our safety.

Amazing property with an unbelievable location

Pictures do not do this place justice. The location is excellent - almost too good to be true! Steve is kind and helpful. Vicki and her daughter keep the place super tidy and they are both super sweet. I will recommend to friends and family.

Great location and very spacious

Three generations of our family went to the beach house and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. It's super spacious with much more room than our party of 7 needed. The main house could use a bit more lighting, especially in the kitchen, as cooking after dark isn't convenient. The pots and pans were plentiful but the dishes need upgrading. The last recommendation is to upgrade the cable to digital as the analog system is missing multiple channels and the picture doesn't come through well on many. Regardless of those minor issues, it was a great stay and we could easily see ourselves renting it again.

Great Vacation Home

This is me and my friends second time staying here. We really enjoyed the property. Fits 8 adults comfortably with a full kitchen for a chef to cook. Pool was regularly clean and beach access was 20ft away. Steve was a great host with great knowledge of the area and recommendations.
