Beautiful house in nice neighborhood

Three couples shared this house for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. The private pool in the backyard was particularly nice to have. We also had easy access to a community pool and the beach. There is a large selection of great restaurants nearby.

Very nice unit and location

This is a very well appointed, nicely furnished and clean 3 bedroom unit. No hesitation recommending this location. The three bedrooms are upstairs. The unit is in a gated community with a circle drive of about 20 -30 units. This unit is next to the gate where you come in with a vehicle. The entrance to the beach and the nice community pool is at the other end of the gated area. It is right near an excellent seafood restaurant Mangalor. You can walk right out to the beach at the north end of Jaco Beach. You can then walk virtually the entire beach (about 2 miles) or a modest walk into the downtown strip which parallels the beach. Would stay here again if we were to come to Jaco.

A hidden gem

Beautiful property and our family felt very fortunate to have gotten to stay here! Owner was gracious and communication was easy. The location is ideal-a 3 min walk to the beach, secured community, gorgeous pool areas (with four macaws perched in nearby trees). The floor plan provided a quiet retreat for sleepers while the early risers enjoyed coffee (included) on the lovely back patio. AC worked great. If we’re ever lucky enough to return to Jaco, this will be our first choice.

Tropical Jaco Beach House

We stayed for a week at this house and it was great. The location is perfect and it is just a very short walk to the beach and to town. The nice thing is the end of the beach this house is on is much quieter and more laid back if that is your thing. We only had two small things happen, one we could not get into the property with the code we were provided and we called and texted and Silvia was able to get us into the house. The other issue was with an air conditioner in the master bedroom was leaking water. We turned it off and then when we turned it back on later it worked fine and also Silvia said they would have someone come fix it the next day, but we were leaving and it worked. The pool is nice to have in the back yard and the kitchen is very well prepared and we liked the little welcome items. We would come back and stay here again.

Great Location Clean House

We loved the location of this property. Located on a less busy part of the beach. House was clean and we loved the gated community and 24 hour security. It was very easy to communicate with the property owners. The community pool was very nice. We would definitely stay again!

La Flor not Avenida Pastor Diaz

Excellent once we found the residence. The address we were given Ave Pastor Diaz La Flor which sent us to the middle of town. We spent the next 2 hours resetting google maps and driving and walking to see if we could find a place that looked like the pictures. We were unable to get info from the property manager. This was at midday and too hot!! We spoke to many residents until finally one knew of La Flor. Once at the residence all was very good. When we had trouble with getting the tv to work the following day Sylvia and her husband were great. Immediately responsive and even sent a man to correct the problem within half an hour. Wonderful spot but be very sure to get the right address and locate it before you get to Jaco The place is lovely and just a few minutes walk to the beach.

Home away from home

Excellent location, close enough to walk but far enough to not hear the hustle and bustle of the night life. We had everything we needed as amenities and beach accessories. We enjoyed the private pool and visits from the macaw’s. Would definitely rent here again!

Property was excellent. Clean. All Amenities perfect. Communication with the host was excellent We had a wonderful stay . Enjoyed the private patio and pool ..also the proximity of the beach . Very Impressed with the level of maintenance of the community. Recommend this vacation property highly. The hosts Silvia and Eddie Colon were very accommodating .

Great location

Perfect location, a short walk to the beach or town, although we found it easier to take a taxi in to town and walk back. Taxi is $2-$5 each way but you could walk everywhere if you wanted to. There are amazing local sodas (local mom and pop restaurants) all around that serve good traditional Costa Rican food. Also the tourist spots as well but their food isn’t as great. The community pool is perfect and also nice to have the cocktail pool in the backyard. There is a pair of Macaws that settle into a tree just to the left of the backyard pretty much every night between 5-6 pm too! Jaco is a great home base for visiting the volcanoes, hot springs, Manuel Antonio, waterfalls, and seeing wildlife.

Jaco Paradise

Seeing this house online just seemed too good to be true but it was everything it advertised and more! A true paradise! Having 2 levels with several outdoor sitting areas gave my family and I several options for being together or for having some privacy. The private pool was perfect and having access to the community pool and only being steps to the beach was ideal. The house was tranquil and the hosts were responsive. I strongly recommend this accommodation for travelers!

Wonderful home in Jaco

Our family of four stayed at Eddie and Silvia’s place for a week. The location was excellent - the community pool and beach just a block away, and the town close enough to walk but far enough that it was very quiet at night. The home was spacious and comfortable and the hosts were extremely responsive to any questions we had. They even arranged for airport taxis to and from San Jose. I would definitely recommend staying here and would do so again in the future.

We have traveled a little bit. Really loved this house.... walking distance to all you need and McCaw's right outside the gate almost every morning. Iguanas and Hummingbirds too! Relaxing week in small upscale beachfront home.

Wonderful home in gated community. We found the house to be clean and well stocked: i.e., beach towels chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, etc. Comfortable and quite with the added bonus of full time security. On the edge of Jaco- so, away from the nightlife, but close enough for dinner or shopping. Silvia and Eddie were terrific!

Everything about this property was as advertised. The location is simply splendid with 24 hour security. Although there were some initial problems with the operation of the television, we realized that use of a television in this setting was completely unnecessary. If I was to return to Jayco I can think of no better place to stay than at this location.

Great place for a getaway!

The property was represented accurately on the listing. We liked that it was in a gated community with 24 hour security. We loved the splash pool in the back yard, perfect for a quick dip to cool off. We didn't need a car, as the property is a short walk to good restaurants and the beach. If we needed to go further, the security guard was available to call for a taxi. Sylvia was a wonderful communicator, and responded to our texts very quickly. She even arranged a driver for us to go to the airport on our day of departure. I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect for our family of 6

Took a last minute family vacation, planned it in 8 weeks, this property was perfect for me and my husband and 4 boys. The little boys loved the lounge pool. This house had all the amenities we needed and the gated community is lovely, the walk to the beach is gorgeous. Communication with the owners was super easy as was the check in and check out. It was perfect for our first time to Costa Rica!
