Absolutely amazing stay at Plantation Jan Thiel lodge. The lodge has so much character and is located in a beautiful setting. If I could give a Michelin star to Loeki, I would — the breakfasts were out of this world made with fresh local Ingredients and or so flavourful and healthy. All the staff were courteous and very nice.

Fantastic and can’t wait to go back. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. The entire property is unique and a little paradise on paradise. We liked watching the sunset from the main house patio area. We stayed in the little cottage we’re so comfortable and loved the private pool and outdoor shower. We liked talking with the other guests from all over the world over breakfast and sharing island experiences. It is a very peaceful and quiet place with house animals as an extra bonus.

Our family of four (two adults and two kids 9 &5) stayed for a week at Plantation Jan Thiel. It was a excellent home base to explore the island from. Loeki is a fantastic host who made us feel at home. She provided loads of great tips for beaches to visit, activities for the kids and restaurants to try. The property is beautiful with an easy walking trail down to see the flamingos at the salt flats, a great pool with comfortable lounge chairs and large terraces to enjoy the view and a cocktail after a long day in the sun.
