Inspite of informing them to give us a good room since we have senior citizens with us in the group, the room was checked prior to check in. The AC was not working. The bathroom mirror light was not working. The microwave was about to give way. The room was an older dated room. First night we did not get sleep because of the heat. We were told nothing can be done. Next day we were asked to switch rooms and then we got a newer room on the same floor with a better view which should have been given to us the first day. The breakfast should have more options for the price they are charging..

They cleaned the room every day. However, they need to replace their pillows because they are too small and flat. They don't even seem to be a standard size; it looks more like a throw pillow.

My stay here was fantastic. The front desk agents, were so nice and made check- in and out a good experience. The hotel was very clean and the room was immaculate, breakfast was good as well. The location is in a prime area next to lots of local restaurants and stores. Plus it's very accessible to New York. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait for my next stay. ☺️

We stayed in room 211 and the heater in the room was terribly noisy. Some maintenance should be required to fix it. Other than that, the staff was friendly and it was very clean.

I only have The Hyatt Place Secaucus and LaQuinta Secaucus to compare in the area as I haven’t stayed anywhere else yet for my work visits to some local data centers. The Best Western Plus is a little lower quality than The Hyatt Place as far furniture and amenities including the breakfast “buffet”. The mattress at The Best Western had springs digging into my back and the towels had a bunch of very long dark hair on them and there was very little water pressure in the shower but plenty in the sink, the room did have a microwave and a refrigerator it the fridge was missing a foot so it bounced around when putting things in and out, the microwave was very weak and smelled awful. I won’t be choosing The Best Western for my lodgings on my next trip.
