The room was nice but could have been cleaner. The door of the dresser was broken, so getting into the fridge was tricky. I would have expected the front desk staff to be friendlier, it was like they were doing you a big favour by checking you in.

Chose hotel for the shuttle n location to the airport. Breakfast buffet was good, but it doesn’t change. The floors in the room need a good mop. If you walk barefoot, it will be brown. Great front staff.

Great facilities and a comfortable room. The only downsides were the shuttle service and the chair in my room breaking while I was sitting on it — otherwise, I would have gladly given 5 stars. P.S. I’m not even that heavy!

Overall, I had a really good experience at the Radisson — not quite five stars, but close. During my trip to southern Africa, I stayed here four different times. The rooms were always clean, comfortable, and felt safe. The food was excellent, though occasionally they ran out of a dish at dinner. The shuttle service is super convenient, just keep in mind that at peak times you may need to wait a bit. What really stood out was the staff — everyone I interacted with, from the dining room to reception, housekeeping, bellmen, and shuttle drivers, was polite, friendly, and helpful. When I’m back in South Africa, I’ll definitely be staying at the Radisson again. For the quality and service, the price is very reasonable.

The hotel was new and clean. Staff were friendly and shuttle service to and from the airport was convenient. Check in was a bit challenging and took quite a while, 3 staff took a while to find our Expedia booking. Housekeeping kept knocking on our door after breakfast to see if we had left. They knocked at 8:15 and 8:40 well before check out. This was honestly a bit annoying. Given its fair pricing I would recommend this hotel.

5* for the hotel, facilities and service 1* because the above does not help if you can not sleep because of party noise outisde until 3am 1* if you complain about the noise and you hear other guests did complain too but nothing was done to stop the noise and you cant sleep

Airport stay

Amazing hotel but a little way out from the main hub of Johannesburg. Ideal for the airport and extremely good value for the quality of the hotel. Rooms large, full of features and immaculate. Free parking and breakfast was top notch.
