This was a wonderful property. Great location - beautiful views - close to the little quaint town of Joshua Tree and close to the park - could not be better. It was clean - comfortable - really well-appointed kitchen - quiet - we will definitely be back again - Thank you so much
We had a great day! Nice house. Semi rural location and somewhat beautiful. Will stay again! Read other reviews. Dirt roads that have street signs and power lines so not bad driving. Note that coming in from the west (Hwy 62) Google Maps had me drive a weird difficult route, and was at night :( But is actually really easy to get to and from the house by going on Park Blvd / Quail Springs Rd, which is only four (or five?) turns! (Use Rincon Rd.). The dirt roads have some potholes and minor washed out areas. Can probably do it in a car, but might want to not rent a sports car with minimal ground yes I know I know clearance.Be sure to visit the visitor center which is the other direction from the park entrance, especially as you may need to buy the park pass there. Those two are maybe 6 mi apart. Note the house is less than 4 miles to the park entrance (but traffic is usually stopped several cars before the entrance). They are building new larger entrance which will allow cars to get in quicker.Minor- Listing states the ice maker is not working and they will leave a bag of ice in the freezer, however they did not so I never had cold drinks. Another minor aspect is that there are several light switches and it's a little difficult to figure out where they what lights they control - would be nice if they label some of the switches. The front door with code lock is in the screened in porch.Overall it was a nice house and a nice location!
Very comfortable beds. Beautiful outdoor space with panoramic views. Well stocked kitchen for great dinners. Very close to JT west entrance and most scenic areas of JT National Monument. Easy parking. Excellent quiet aircon units.
Everything was lovely. A few tiny showing of age in the property ( bathroom sink) but minor. Very clean. The biggest issue was getting in. The road is terrible and you should warn people. If they had a small, low car they might not make it. Also come only during the day because no lights!! We had tickets to a show in Pioneertown which we paid 100 for but had to cancel (no refund!!) because we didnât want to be driving that road after dark.
Awesome home, even more awesome location. Views were phenomenal, the house was the perfect size and layout, the beds were comfortable and the house was immaculate.
Bigger than expected, Modern Furniture and Amazing Location!
The worse thing about this place is the 1 ply toilet paper haha. Everything else is expectation exceeding. Youâll be blown away by your stay here. 10/10 recommend
Beautiful & peaceful stay for our Joshua Tree visit
Everything about this house was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights with friends - traveling from different parts of the country. The house is spacious and very comfortable. The beds were soft and we all slept so well. The fire pit was amazing at night. And we loved the extras - the hammock, coffee in the kitchen, a full sized laundry room, and the games. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Thank you for the amazing stay!
Awesome, beautiful, and well accommodated place just outside JTNP!
Had a great 4 nights here driving in from San Diego! The property itself is in a gorgeous location overlooking the northern portion of Joshua Tree National Park and Joshua Tree Village. Minutes from the northern entrance and the town. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, a/c kept it cool during the warm days. Would definitely stay here again if we came back with friends!
Went to JT for a little quiet time. The house was comfortable, nicely decorated and well supplied. There are beautiful views from the living room, north bedroom and both outdoor patios. Even though it was winter, I saw lots of wildlife. I was watching a group of coyotes calling on the road just below I could hear two other groups at various distances calling back. A roadrunner walked past me, not 10 feet away. I saw a bobcat just down the road. It was wonderful. I like the location, well away from paved roads, very quiet. Great sunrises and sunsets. Just perfect.
Very well equipped and situated for the park - aside from the challenging road as already mentioned.
Loved being outside with the stars and slept so well in the comfy beds.
Wifi was a little patchy while we were there and the door needed a bit of work to get in and out. Other than that we loved it!
The location could not be better! Perfect Joshua Tree views and close to park! House was clean and well equipped. Easy place to stay for a few days to explore the park!
