We had a really nice time at whistling Cloud. It was a perfect 2 night getaway, to relax, unwind, and explore the area. Beautiful space with everything you would ever need. Took a nap in the hammock outside, and had some serious ping pong matches.Thanks again for keeping you place so nice for us to enjoy.

Beautiful home with fun game room

We had an amazing time at this home! M was An amazing host from the beginning and very responsive to answering messages. The location was great right next to the west Joshua tree entrance! Loved the cleanliness, very modern and minimalist decor with plants :), comfortable beds, and especially the game room! My kids were had a blast at the air hockey table and dad and I did some weights and ellipse machine. The appliances and the house was very new and recently updated and we felt very comfortable here. Thanks M

Whistling Cloud was the perfect place to stay in Joshua Tree. The house is super clean, has everything you need, and communication with owner is great. Definitely recommend this rental if you are visiting Joshua Tree!!

Gorgeous relaxing stay

We really loved this house. It has great furnishings and views. Plenty of activities and great music to keep my family entertained. Perfect for a family with teens or older children. Great kitchen appliances for easy breakfasts in the house. Enjoyed some wine in the hot tub while looking at the stars.

Fantastic location and stellar home

Whistling Cloud was the perfect home for my husband and I to enjoy our Joshua Tree experience. Close to the national park entrance. The home is new and well cared for. Enjoyed taking a hot tub after hiking. The kitchen is well stocked and we played board games at night. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend. Dixon

Flawless Getaway

Our group of friends were just looking for a place to relax and also celebrate a birthday. The variety of things to do just within the house is so amazing. The interior design was a huge factor to our relaxing vibe. I personally would like to come back to this specific listing once more. The appliances were such a huge help as well. Tip: watching the sun rise behind the mountain is a beautiful experience 💖

A wonderful stay

The location of this house is perfect for visiting the park! It's so clean and everything worked perfectly - this house is well cared for. I loved that Fleetwood Mac was already on the record player and the hot tub was perfect with the chill at night. I also appreciated the thoughtful tiny amenities for children. I would definitely come back!

Gorgeous house in Joshua Tree

Can’t ask for a better place to stay in Joshua tree. The house is gorgeous with lots of great amenities and the location is extremely close to the Joshua Tree visitor center and some good restaurants in JT. There was some nice board games including wingspan and the house is super clean. We stayed there for 2 nights but I’m sure I will be returning sometime soon. The host was great with clear communication and was very proactive. You will never regret staying here for any reason whatsoever.

perfect holiday getaway

beautiful home with everything you could possibly want for a fun and relaxing thanksgiving weekend (great little kitchen to cook in!) the ping pong and air hockey tables were a huge hit with our 5 year old and we were able to get some great stargazing in while soaking in the tub. we will def be back!

A lovely place to stay

Whispering cloud is beautiful, clean and quiet. It is perfectly situated a few blocks from a magical canyon with petroglyphs and all types of birds. I even saw an owl. After a day of hiking in Joshua tree national Park, I soaked in the hot tub underneath the stars.

A real home

Wonderful home with everything you need. Great kitchen, nice bedrooms and a garage full of games. We all really enjoyed our stay. It is also vey close to the Joshua Tree National Park entrance, we also had a great time in the park.

Great Place to Stay!

We visited Joshua Tree over the Holiday weekend and had the pleasure to stay here. The home is only a couple of minutes from the entrance to the park. Excellent stay. The house is very modern and clean with everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are prestine. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided. The backyard is great to relax with jacuzzi, hammock, fire pit, etc. Nice star watching. There are also games like ping pong Foosball, corn hole, board games, etc. There is a TV and record player. Plenty of activities to keep you occupied. The owner communicates with you from the moment you book. The process is very easy. We only stayed a short time but if we stay in the area again we will definitely stay here.

Here for a night but I'd love to stay for a month!

First off the pictures don't even do it justice. Joshua Tree can be a little rough around the edges. This was place was gleaming and new. Spotless and full of thoughtful, considerate touches. The outdoor area with fire pit and hot tub was cozy, private and inviting. The hammock! Beautiful design esthetic throughout the house. Kitchen is top grade and had all the essentials including espresso maker. Bedrooms were roomy, fresh, and comfortable. Bathrooms were a dream. Lovely grounds that separate you from closest neighbors, great location close to park entrance with paved roads (dirty dirt roads are a thing in this area) and a hillside view.. And don't forget to go into the garage which has been converted to an amazing game room including ping pong table, air hockey, it even has a couch and mini refrigerator. There are games to be transported outside including bocce, badminton and corn hole. Mun was great at communicating at booking and for any questions that come up. Access and checkout instructions were easy, clear and effortless.

I went with my wife to celebrate our anniversary away from LA noise & crowd. It felt like we were in countryside with peace & quite everywhere. In the night it was a soothing experience while either sitting in the patio or in the hot tub, enjoying the cool breeze & night sky full of stars. The house was kept super clean with all necessary items. M was kind enough to communicate with us in case we have any questions/queries, even left us with a welcome note & a bottle of wine. The record player was something we don’t see regularly, with amazing records to play on. The indoor board games & separate game room were added benefit. M made sure you don’t feel bored a single min. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay.

Luxurious Getaway in the Desert

My husband and I stayed for five magnificent nights as an escape from work and L.A. The space has a brand new feeling and was absolutely spotless. It has simple designer touches, but not at the expense of comfort. The bed was new and supportive foam with lovely bed linens and blankets and pillows galore. The sofa is "real" furniture; the dining table served as a great workspace for us. Internet was super fast. A/C kept us 100% comfortable in 90 degree weather. No allergy triggering fragrances of any kind. No pets. Kitchen was supplied with everything to make dinner (we stayed in for 3 nights.) We used the sparkling clean hot tub every day (it got nice and hot.) The entrance to Joshua Park is just up the road. Supermarket and coffee shop/bakery nearby. It was a magnificent place to unwind. Host was lightning speed responsive and very welcoming. The house feels safe and very private, and the quiet is pervasive. The house is full of light, but with proper blinds everywhere if you want to sleep in late. Really, a perfect getaway. Signed, Picky World Travellers.

Desert Oasis

"Whistling Cloud" is even more beautiful in person. Modern, clean, new and nicely decorated. The spot has all of the amenities-full kitchen, hot tub, hammock, a view of the desert landscape from every window. This special house has a secluded feel yet it is minutes from the National Park, other hiking spots in walking distance, and is also close to the Downtown area. I am already dreaming of going back. It is a gem.

Incredible JT Experience

What a beautiful home and enjoyable trip. This home has all you need! This space is immaculate, and in an absolutely gorgeous location. The sunrise view from anywhere in the home are breathtaking. Plenty of space in the backyard to do yoga, set up a tripod or enjoy the peace and quiet along with an easy to use fire feature and hot tub right off the bedroom. The quick drive to the park and downtown make it very convenient. The kitchen space is beautiful with all gadgets you need to create a feast. Ping pong and air hockey in the garage are great entertainment options. I absolutely loved the record player, convenient to use. M was in communication regularly and there for whatever we needed, even leaving a nice note and wine to welcome us to our home away from home. Beautiful modern decor. All around great experience, highly recommend.

Paradise in the desert!

Joshua Tree is already a wonderful place to getaway, but this home made the experience truly magical. The place is even more stunning than the pictures. Its super spacious, cozy and relaxing, but also very modern and has every amenity you could ask for. The jacuzzi and firepit were amazing at night! And the kitchen... WOW. I wish I brought more food with me just to use all the fun gadgets and appliances! Oh, and there's a separate game room... with air hockey AND a full size ping pong table. I came here to enjoy the outdoors, but I almost didn't want to leave the house!

A Luxurious Oasis in Joshua Tree

Came here for the national park, but we loved the house so much we didn’t want to get out! This was our last minute getaway. We desperately needed a break and this was more than we had imagined from the photos. The house is amazing, so spacious! Love the open concept. Sleeping in our bed was almost like camping under the stars, and then waking up to the magical sunrise, in luxury! This was a great pampering gift that was well worth it.
