The view was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed whales every day. Most of the furniture is long on the tooth. Property management had to send out a person to clean the blood and dirt off the arms of the chairs. The floors weren't very clean, so they sent someone to mop. The toilet bowl brush sat directly on the floor next to the toilet. Not sanitary. I asked for someone to remove a two-foot streak of bird poop on the picture window and no one was able to do that. We were told a window cleaning was scheduled March 8th, but that did not happen. The bedroom sliding doors were streaky. One of the living room blinds would not rise to the top. I asked someone to take care of that, but no one did. I had to ask for more silverware. There was barely enough for 2 people. We paid 300.00 for an extension on our checkout but had to call at least three times because new codes they provided didn't work. We therefore wouldn't have access to get back into the room if we had gone to lunch or to the pool. So we stayed in the room all day. If it were updated and cleaner, it would be perfection. Fabulous view. Quiet pool. Duke's Restaurant is a ten-minute walk. Very good food and location. We would stay at Mahana again but in a different unit. We liked the corner room. More windows. Lanai was very private. I believe before guests arrive, the above-mentioned issues should be taken care of, not afterward.
