Amazing spot

Perfect spot for my wife and our baby daughter for our vacation in Maui. Walking distance to food trucks, beautiful beaches and much more! Super clean with great views. Will stay here again next time we come to Maui!

Beautiful place

This is great place to stay if you know where the beaches are, because the condo is beachfront but the rocky shoreline isn't swimmer friendly. The views are incredible. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Great location

Great area to be in. The property is awesome, the views are amazing. We saw so many turtles from the lanai. The only thing we did not like was the mattress because it was too soft but thats just a preference! We will rent this apartment in the future!

Best Place Ever

You always worry/wonder what an unknown place will be like when you book it. My wife and I were blown away with how perfect this room was. The minute we walked in all we could say to each other was WOW. The view was like a dream and the place was amazing. We absolutely loved it.

Great unit with a fantastic view and even better Host

We had to book this day of as our reservation fell through as they didn't let us know that their unit was being painted. Kim was able to accommodate us on very short notice and made what was a hectic situation very easy. Her communication was great as was the unit. WHAT A VIEW! Highly recommend this unit that's in a great location.

Stunning Ocean View

What an amazing property! Floor to ceiling windows with a spectacular ocean view! Incredible sunsets from the 6th floor living room, liana and bedroom. The condo is extremely well equipped with everything you will need including 2 beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, cooler and a beach bag to use. As noted, no swimming off the immediate beach but a short walk down the beach was a great area to set up for the day. Check in/check out was very easy. A food truck area was in walking distance as were a grocery and several restaurants. We LOVED this place.and couldn't recommend it more highly.

Completely Wonderful!

My wife and I just concluded 5 days and 4 nights as the guests of Bill and Dondi, and we loved Mahana 604. The condo was extremely comfortable, and the view is just spectacular from the picture window wall in the living room and from the lanai. Many friends gave us recommendations for the best place to watch the sun set, but we found nothing that beat the view from Mahana 604. The owners were very attentive and courteous during the rental process, and the amenities reflected very thoughtful consideration of our comfort and enjoyment. We ate out one night, but most enjoyed grilling fresh fish (from the Fish Store, just a block away) at the beautifully equipped grill area in the pool area (5 state of the art gas grills). The Mahana is perfectly located, comfortable, and easy to visit.

Greeted by an expansive view of the ocean with Lanai in the background, this condo has it all. Kitchen with everything you need for a vacation, including a great steak of cooking knives. Two beach chairs and boogie boards for waterside fun. A covered lanai that gets late afternoon sun and offers gorgeous sunsets for dinnertime views that rival the best of Maui restaurants. We've been here before and will be back!

Highly recommend and would stay here again!

We were so pleased with our stay in this condo and would definitely choose to stay here again. The pictures are an accurate representation of the unit. There were dishwasher tablets provided, but no detergent for the washing machine, so suggest you pack some pods for it. The only negative was that both my wife and I thought that the pillows on the bed were very uncomfortable (too overstuffed and stiff), but that’s subjective. After the first few nights, I ended up putting a pillowcase on one of the couch pillows and using that as a substitute which kept my neck in a more comfortable sleeping position. Excellent condo! Excellent area and would 100% stay here again, but would pack my own pillow!

6/23/04 We absolutely enjoyed everything in and about the condo. It was fabuous. We have stayed at several places on the ocean in CA but this was by far the best we have had. The sunsets, well you know about the sunsets. They were just beautiful. We can't say enough about how we enjoyed ourselves and hope to come back again and appreciate you sharing your little piece of paradise with us. We both appreciated the absolute completeness of the condo. Two TVs, DVD, VHS, stereo, a complete kitchen, all appliances, washer & dryer, towels, soaps, sweeper, toaster, blender, etc, etc. You are clearly our first choice when we go back to Hawaii. Very Good

Great property. It was clean and on the ocean. Only thing, that, the TV in the bad room did not work at all and the one in the living room worked for two days and then lost signal. I called the TV cable company, they sent the man but he couldn't get in because we were not there to authorize the entry to the condo. This being a privately owned, the reception couldn't let him in. So, we just told the owner of the condo to just forget about it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just got home from staying in Mahana 604 and will certainly be back! The property and views even exceed the pictures if that is possible! There was excellent directions and communication about finding and getting into the property, checkin-in and parking. The unit is very well furnished and even had pancake mix, coffe and tea available to start our first morning. The lanai was spacious and we had great sunset views every night and made a point to get back in time to enjoy with a glass of wine. We loved having beach chairs, umbrella and cooler available as well as a washer/dryer to use mid week. We were surprised to find amazing snorkeling is only a short .5 mile walk away right on the Kaaapali beach walk. We enjoyed the Mauai Channel on the TV when we arrived and learned about history, places to eat and things to do. There is a Duke's Mauai restaurant next door that is booked up for months but you can order take out from their menu and eat on your own beach front lanai! We also enjoyed eating at Frida's Mexican Beach Front and Hanu Seafood and Pizza restaurants in Lahaina right on the water by the pier.

We’re enjoying a glass of wine in the Jacuzzi around 8:00 PM, we were the only ones in the pool area. We were very quiet and just enjoying a nice relaxing night when the security man walked outside, walked around the Jacuzzi a couple of times looking at us, and then told us that we could not have glass at the Jacuzzi. I told him that it didn’t say anything on the spa rules about not having glass and he said you cannot have glass at the pool. I said OK he walked away for a few minutes and then came back and said it again you cannot have glass at the pool . I got out of the Jacuzzi and took the glasses inside the lobby. I walked up to the counter and asked if they had any plastic cups and they said no, then I overheard on the radio, the security guard calling the front desk telling him to watch us at the Jacuzzi. The security man came back out about an hour later and just hung around the pool area lingering and watching us. Very weird and uncomfortable. When you are staying at a resort where you are paying a lot of money, you should be able to enjoy yourself. If you are not causing a problem, this guy had a complete attitude.!!!!!

Worst.Experience.Ever.

Nice location. Well kept building. But once you enter the unit you just entered the wardens’ chamber. Rules. Rules and repeat the rules again. “The blinds are delicate.. don’t pull too hard because if you break them you will be charged” So we never touched them. Baked in the afternoon sun. A/C couldn’t keep up. “Be careful with the frying pans, the t-fal finish is delicate, and if you scratch it, you will be charged” So we never cooked anything. Ate out every meal. We were so discouraged that we left after the second night and forfeited the 3 more nights I had paid for. The upset started by my own doing. At time of booking I found this for my wife and daughter to share for daughters’ spring break from college. I was able to secure this just 8 days in advance. I obviously didn’t absorb all of the rules because the rental terms clearly state “2” guests. At the last moment I was able to join my family. I hopped on the same plane and headed for Maui. First night we are trying to pen the sleeper sofa. It’s got a kryptonite bicycle cable and a Master combination lock securing it from opening. I figured they wanted more money for a 3rd person. Seemed fair. I called the landlord. Traveling all day and the time change, we were ready for sleep. I would have paid anything to lay down. The response on the phone was so unbelievably cold. “The agreement clearly states 2 people.” I explained my late inclusion, and clearly my actions were unintentional. “Sorry, 2 only” I suggested I sleep in the car. That was quite alright with the landlord. “You can’t sleep on the couch, I won’t allow it” I had to get to sleep. Luckily the rented Tahoe has a big back seat. Finished our vacation in Wailea at a 5 star resort. Wonderful
