Wow! The view and the sound of the waves absolutely amazing!! Perfect place to decompress and celebrate our 20th anniversary . The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals.We made use of the beach chairs and cooler. I’d stay here again. Mahalo

Wonderful View and Location

Condo has gorgeous views of the ocean - watching whales while having breakfast on the deck. Very nice warm swimming pool, outdoor grills, and sandy beach. Cool breeze through the unit meant we didn't even need to use the AC. Kahana Beach location super convenient to nice beaches, restaurants, etc. We'll definitely be back!

We had actually owned this unit several years ago, and returned for nostalgia sake. We were very happy with the condition of the condo, and the overall appearance of the royal Kahana. It was fun to see a lot of our signature still there. This is a good unit to stay in for overall views, and whale watching.

Amazing sunset views!

Shelly and Dan are extremely responsive to any needs or questions about their gorgeous condo. We enjoyed beautiful views from the balcony every day, watching giant sea turtles during the day and sunsets at night. It's less than 20 minutes drive from everything to do in West Maui and a 5 minute walk to the best sushi in town (Miso Phat). Since we couldn't be home for Christmas this year, it was the best distraction from missing family that we could have asked for!

Everything was great and the property was better than expected. Quite amazing views in a great location! Only one issue was with the shower not working well (very hard to get hot water). Dan was communicative about the issue but it never got resolved during our stay. Otherwise a great property!

Glorious 3 week stay

Wonderful unit with probably the best and most attentive owners we’ve had in 12 years staying on Maui. Office staff so kind and accommodating, made us feel like family. The views of the breaching whales and sunsets. Pristine barbecues cleaned daily. Only criticisms are the kitchen could have a few more pans and bowls since we opted to stay in and cook every night- but understand that most people don’t! Also, construction next door that started at 8AM was annoying and will probably go on for a while but it seems there’s always construction anywhere we stay on Maui. Overall 5 stars.

Honeymoon 2019

We stayed at Royal Kahana room 612 for our honeymoon from May 20th to 30th, 2019. I have to say the place is exactly how it appears in the pictures. Everything was beautiful, clean, a well equipped kitchen, and a wonderful view. There are coolers, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, beach shoes (2 pair), hair dryer, tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent. They have enough there for you to get started. The bed is very comfortable, we both slept well. We saw sea turtles and watched a seal float by during the afternoon from the balcony (lanai). It does get hot in the condo if you don't keep the curtains closed during the day, so make sure they are closed even if you are running the air conditioning. When opening the windows on the elevator side and ocean side you get an excellent cross breeze. Some complained about the cable not working, but it does work, if you point the remote up towards the ceiling. Odd right? But it does work. Starting at 6am every morning is pool and grill cleaning, they do a very thorough job. The grills can be a little busy around 6-7, so start early or cook late. They did add a new grill while we were there, so now there is 4. The sand bags on the beach not a big deal, we just walked over them to the beach. Still plenty of beach to enjoy. We loved the location, Old Lahaina is 10 min down the road with shopping and lots of restaurants. We would stay here again, the building is well maintained and condo was excellent.

Nice resort with an amazing view

Condo was comfortable. Enjoyed the bed and pillows. The resort is lovely and clean, and is in a pretty good location on the island about 15 minutes north of Lahaina. Pool area was really enjoyable, and the beach area was great to walk up and down. The best part was the view from the lanai. Sat out there every morning with my coffee and watched the whales jumping with the provided binoculars. Would recommend this condo solely for the view!

Beyond our expectations!

This was an ideal condo for us, we spent a lot of time just enjoying the expansive view from the cozy, comfortable, well appointed living room! Bed SO comfortable. Conk shells going off every night at 5 pm, then glorious sunsets! We truly enjoyed out stay at this comfortable condo that made us feel like we were right on the ocean! Highly recommend this rental!! Most awesome view

When we opened the front door and saw the view it was pure magic. I could not have been more pleased. Furnishings were adorable and very comfortable . Kitchen was to die for. Soft close doors and drawers. Alot of thought went into this place. Lots of early mornings watching the ocean. More evenings watching the sun set. Down the elevator to the beach or pool. This place has it all. We will return

The view from the balcony is amazing. There are several grills for everyone to use and we loved grilling. Quiet. Air conditioning was so so. Along with washer dryer, small, works but takes forever to get clothing dry. Over good properity.

The Perfect Honeymoon!

Our only complaint...the pictures don't do justice to the view and atmosphere. Royal Kahana Unit 612 over-delivered on everything! We couldn't have been happier and are already looking at booking again. The Williamsons were great with communicating with us and accomdating one or two small date changes. We wish we could keep this property as our little secret.

The condo made our vacation perfect.

It was so nice and had such a great view that it made our time there a huge part of the reason our vacation was as fantastic as it was! It was our first time to Hawaii and my wife and I have agreed that when we go back we're staying there again. It was furnished with everything we would ever need and more. My wife is a chef and loves to cook and she made almost every meal we ate there which saved us a lot of money. We sat on the deck and ate every meal. It was absolutely perfect for us!

GREAT Unit!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Our family of 4 (2 adult, 14 & 6 year olds) was able to comfortably stay in this 1-bedroom/1-bath unit for 2 weeks from the end of June until mid-July, and not once did we turn on the A/C! The breeze and the fact that the unit isn't hit by the sun until the late afternoon and at sunset, kept everything nice and temperate (low-mid 70's, a bit cooler at night). So long as you don't mind a howl of wind every now and then, there's no need to use the A/C. Even better than that though, the lanai (balcony)! Aside from being able to watch the sunset every night and listening to the waves while we slept, anytime we wanted to use the pool, all we had to do was walk out to the lanai, look down below, and see how crowded it was (usually there was less than 6 people or so in the pool). Plus, our 14 year-old enjoyed being able to go to the pool by herself to relax, swim, and get some time away from us (which we felt more than comfortable doing because we could always see the pool at all times). The same goes for the grills, whenever we wanted to grill, all we had to do was look down below to see if one was available (you might have to wait if you want a grill between 6-7pm, so plan ahead!). Speaking of the lanai, we saw countless turtles (probably the same ones over and over again), but that was extremely cool, our 6-year old LOVED IT! On top of all that, we went to numerous beaches throughout West Maui and this location was IDEAL. No beach in West Maui was more than a 10-12 minute drive, either to the north, or the south, EXTREMELY CONVENIENT!! Lahaina town was anywhere from a 15-20 minute drive depending on where you were going. THANK YOU for letting our family stay in your unit and helping make our Maui vacation truly amazing and memorable. We'd definitely stay here again!! Nick & Family

AMAZING CONDO

The unit is incredible and describe exactly as is! The view is just so good. You can see sea turtles from the balcony. Check in was the easiest thing ever. The unit is located in a great area. The condo had any extras you could need and was located very close to a market and I get anything else you could want or need. Definitely would stay here again! Mahalo!
