We never met our hosts, but they greeted us with fresh fruit, Kona coffee, miscellaneous Hawaiian treats and a welcoming card. It was a great location for us and a place for some of our family staying in other areas to have a few meals together that we could prepare with some of the wonderful fish and fruits the island has to offer. The well equipped unit and supply of beach gear was great ... couldn't ask for more!

Clean, well-stocked, nice ocean view and resort pool & facilities. Fast communication with owner, overall great stay. Only problem is location: shopping and restaurants are right across the street, but if you are looking for sandy beaches, they are an hour north.

Amazing place in a beautiful complex

We had a great experience. The place is spacious and very comfortable. Everything you could imagine you might need is there. We enjoyed the pool and were gifted rainbows on the lanai two mornings during our breakfast. Wonderful stay.

As frequent visitors to Hawaii, we were especially pleased with the cleanliness of the condominium and the care that the owners took to ensure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Kitchen was nicely stocked with condiments and well equipped. Furnishings were in excellent condition. Sunset views from the lanai are striking. We would gladly return.

Great place to stay in Kailua-Kona area!

This condo was an ideal home base for our family trip to the Kailua-Kona area. The condo itself was spacious and comfortable, with a huge lanai and beautiful ocean views. The resort was great, with multiple pools and many sports activities for kids to enjoy. The location was also great, close to many restaurants and great beaches with tons of water activities, snorkeling, etc. Overall, it was an amazing place to stay. We were VERY sad to leave!

Do not stay here

The roaches in the bathroom and kitchen were one thing, but my bedroom unfortunately had a hornet infestation. I contacted the owners and noboby returned my message. Had to check out early and find a new place. Very unfortunate the owners couldn't take responsibility and do the right thing by giving me a refund. Also the place was noisy from the pool which was supposed to be the quiet pool.

Perfect Hawaiian vacation location for retirees. Great ocean views (see whales from the lanai!), good acces to dining, shopping and activities. Safe, quiet neighborhood. What more could you want?

1 bed rm condo is very spacious for 3 adults. Shopping center with grocery store right out side the complex. Very well stocked and surprised by welcome gift -- 100% Kona coffee, cookies, and a pear. Only thing I wish to have is darker window covering in bed room and living room.

Perfect Condo

We really enjoyed this condo for the week. It was very well stocked and we are convinced we had the best view of all of the Kona Coast Resort. We really enjoyed the amenities at the resort as well. We were a bit nervous about no A/C before we checked in but there are plenty of fans and it really cooled down at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, great accommodations

Located minutes away from beaches, snorkelling and shopping. This spacious condo has a beautiful view of the sunset, great fully stocked kitchen and great living space and lanai. The location is very quiet. We had lots of space to have people over for dinner. Pools are nice. We will definitely stay here again. Jannette and Peter are great hosts who left a lovely welcome basket.

Cockroach infestation

I booked this property from 8/8/22 - 8/10/22. I came back from an excursion at 9:30PM & found cockroaches crawling on the kitchen counter & on the living room wall. There were 3 cockroaches ran out under the knife block when we lift it up. Our grocery bag with food we just bought were crawling with cockroaches. I watched a cockroach crawled up my water bottle when I was frantically trying to contact the owner (text, call & email). Luckily I was able to book a room at the Holiday Express in town for $400/night. The owner didn't get back to me until the next day after I left the property & she actually stated she didn't see the reason for me to leave the property. She stated they spray the ground for cockroaches & she will ask to have extra spray. The owner only refunded me a fraction of what I paid for this property. In addition, there is no AC & the temperature was over 90F. There was no amount of fans or trade wind blowing into the property to cool down at all. Forget about VRBO doing anything because I didn't contact them & the owner within 24hrs. I was so distraught that I was not in the right frame of mind to remember or to put aside the excursion that I paid so dearly so that I can contact VRBO within 24hrs! If you don't mind cockroaches then do enjoy the beautiful view.
