There were a few issues in our room. For example, Tv was not working, door knob of the washroom fell off and the kettle was leaking. However the staffs were nice and tried to resolve the issues asap. Overall, we’d go back and stay with them again!

My family has stayed at the grand hotel in Sun Peaks many times before. It is located in a beautiful mountain setting and the hotel itself is beautiful as well. My family was extremely disappointed with the service this time however starting with being double or triple charged for our rooms confusion among the staff at the reception, lack of training of the new staff, who obviously was lost dealing with some very basic booking and checking in procedures. We stayed for three nights at three different rooms and at one point all our stuff was moved out of our rooms by staff by their mistake. On some days, the rooms were not cleaned up and garbage was not taken out from our rooms and the management just said that they’re too busy to service our rooms. Overall, the lack of professionalism left a bitter taste. Paying $650 a night per room gives me an expectation of at least having my room serviced properly. On a positive side, the food and the servers at the Grand’s restaurant where excellent.

Not sure if the noise comes from restaurant accosting the road or the room near by. Loud music star playing at 8am and it’s close to 10pm now the music is still playing!!! I believe all guests want a good rest after long day at the mountain but unfortunately we are not getting any.
