Enjoy sunsets from the privacy of the large covered lanai, a sandy beach right out front, enticing tidepools, and the serenity of the perpetual song of ocean breezes in the trees at this lovely oceanfront setting.

This versatile beachfront home can serve as the perfect romantic getaway for a couple, or comfortably accommodate a family or group of friends. The spacious, nicely manicured lawn and easily accessed beach invite both the playful frolic of children and relaxed lounging of adults. Sharing the beach with resident sea turtles is a daily highlight, and during winter months savor the opportunity to view and listen to the grandeur of the visiting humpback whales from the living room, lanai and backyard.

Choose your dining experience, from the beautiful teak indoor dining table to the comfortable and roomy environs of the ocean side lanai, which extends the length of the main house. Here you will find a beautiful outdoor dining table, cozy lounge chairs, and the punee, a large built-in lounging area which can be used for outdoor sleeping for those more adventurous souls.

Each bedroom has its own outside entrance complete with full bathroom. The large master bedroom, with king bed, opens out to the ocean through a sliding glass door and onto its own lanai. One of the other three bedrooms opens out to the ocean and onto its own lanai as well.

First class snorkeling, scuba diving and surfing is available within a short walking distance at Paniau, a gorgeous little bay at the end of Puako.

We Loved This House! We are three older couples who stayed at this house in January. It is in a quiet residential area which is very peaceful but not far from restaurants and shopping. We arrived at night to find the house lit up, welcoming, and immaculately cleaned. Our host, Gregg, could not have been more responsive, helpful or engaging! The house has very comfortable and expansive common areas, with indoor sitting and dining areas, as well as outdoor sitting and dining areas on the lanai. The kitchen is large and equipped with every appliance and utensil one could need. It is perfect for an extended family or group of friends. From the lanai we could see whales breaching at a distance, and from the beach we could see turtles sunning on the rocks or warming in tide pools. Swimming in front of the house was not an inviting prospect. Too much lava rock and too shallow. But a short walk or drive down the road there were snorkeling spots among the lava rocks, a path along the beach, and a sandy beach. When we could tear ourselves away from the peaceful lanai we walked a short ways to see petroglyphs, and a lovely swimming beach was a 5-minute drive away.  The rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Be aware that the rooms are not equal: there is one large ocean-front room, a second much smaller ocean-front room, a small room not on the ocean (but with a fun outdoor shower), and a large room separate from the main house toward the road.

Amazing location - watched dolphins, whales and turtles from lanai. With 4 en suite pods, everyone had space and privacy. The common areas and laundry room were perfect for family time.

Great stay! House was beautiful. Perfect set up with privacy for all. The views are AMAZING! Great little neighborhood with wonderful and kind locals! It does get hot at night with no air conditioning. Good for some not so great for a perimenopausal woman with night sweats!! So we did sleep on the porch a few nights. Also, be aware of Iron Man competitions going on during your stay we did have a bit of a problem with road closures trying to get to the airport so make sure you ask before you book in October. It did make for a rough trip home. Other than that, it was a wonderful trip.

Can't beat the setup and view!

Truly amazing property! We were a little on the fence with how the setup would work out (bedrooms disconnected from the main living area), but this ended up being awesome. We had a group of six and everyone could spread out, yet all be together. View was incredible as well. Five stars all the way around!

Perfect for family and friends

This oceanfront property was a perfect spot for our extended family, including two young children. Each couple had their own “cabin” with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom so they could have their privacy but come together in the main house for meals and relaxation on the lanai. One cabin has an attached outdoor shower with a door, and there is another outdoor shower on the opposite side of the house. The outdoor showers were the best, and great for cleaning up after the beach. One of the four cabins is on the other side of the pull-through driveway making it a little more isolated, but it is roomy with lots of windows for circulation. The main house has another full bath including a shower. The kitchen is large and well appointed. There is a dining area for eight inside, and another large table on the attached lanai. The laundry has full size W/D and a second refrigerator. We spent most of our time on the lanai, which has large wide daybeds for lounging and reading. With small kids, having the grassy area in front of the house with just a small entrance to the beach made it easy to keep track of them. The beach in front of the house is especially nice for children, with a calm area frequented by numerous turtles. We had one issue while we were there, and Gregg came over right away and took care of it. The house was very clean. All in all, it is hard to find anything negative to say. We hope to come back again.

Great rental for the right group

Gregg could not have been nicer or more accommodating to us. The main house has a great patio with a large lounge area that we enjoying sitting at, looking for whales and turtles. The beach in front was great for the kids, too. Unfortunately, the house set up did not work for our family. None of the bedrooms are connected to the main house, so we each had to sleep with a kid (2 and 4) in our room - not ideal on vacation. I didn’t pick this detail up when booking, so it was only when Gregg pointed it out that we were able to troubleshoot by putting twin beds in two rooms for the kids to sleep on. It’s a great rental, and we would consider staying again once our kids are older and we are comfortable with them in a detached bedroom.

Amazing property and a wonderful host and check-in experience.

This house was even better than we expected. It served all of our needs as a family traveling together. Gregg, our property manager, was wonderful. He showed up with his wife to check us in, and he also checked in on us during the week to make sure that everything was going well. We could not be happier with this property or the property management experience. As managers ourselves of a vacation home rental property, we know when we see a good host. Gregg is that person and did a wonderful job. We’d come back again and again to this amazing property.

Dirty, roaches, ants on the kitchen counter, ant traps behind art on the counter, geckos everywhere along with their droppings, no air conditioning, smelled liked urine, only one towel per person, it was like camping not all what was expected ~ over priced. Lovely, peaceful home right on the water

This was a perfect place for our week in Hawaii! The house has a big lanai with lots of comfortable chairs, a large table for outdoor meals, and a green, green lawn, palm trees and the wide ocean in full view. The large kitchen had all of the cooking supplies and counter surfaces we needed to cook all of our meals there. We used the outdoor grill several times, too. Each of the three bedrooms had their own bathroom and separate entrances connected to the outdoor walkways and patios so there was lots of privacy. The property manager Gregg was super helpful about getting in touch before and upon our arrival, and was quick to answer the one call I made about some extra bedding. We walked to really great snorkeling at several spots along Puako Drive where the house is located. We would have never left this place if we had the option!

We had an incredible stay at this beachside property! The location couldn't be better—right on the beach with huge waves perfect for surfing and swimming. The nearby food trucks offer a fantastic variety of delicious options, making dining easy and enjoyable. The property itself is well-maintained and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We can't wait to come back!

Glorious Location

The property is deceiving. As you walk up to the front gate, it looks like a fairly middle of the road, simple property. But once you open that front gate, paradise and privacy awaits you in the most breathtaking kaleidoscope of colours and nature. The property has an old Hawaiian vibe, with spacious living areas, inside and out, lots of windows and light, and that marvellous view of the ocean, right outside your door. My family says it will be hard to consider staying anywhere else.
