Does not disappoint

Great check in with Lucky. Very friendly, speedy service. Room was clean, great bathroom, closet space. Coffee maker, microwave, came in handy. Bed was comfortable, 4 pillows, clean sheets. Definitely will stay here again.

Don't drink the coffee or buy the pot pies.

The room was decent and the beds were okay, But I was not happy to get charged $10 for a pot pie in the lobby that was stuck to another one. when I asked the front desk clerk to separate them because they were stuck together And I didn't want to ruin one He offered to give me both for 15. I didn't even want 1 for 10 but my daughter was hungry And I wasn't leaving again, and then the pot Pie was freezer burnt and disgusting. I don't think it's very fair to charge people $10 for a $2 pot pie just because you're in a hotel. And then try to get them to buy two, because they're stuck together. He even said, well, I can't sell the second one If we separate them, and i'm thinking, well, you covered your cost for ten dollars on one. Be good people and don't take advantage of guests by increasing the prices extremely and then trying to get me to buy more when you knew it was old and gross. Also in the morning, when I left, we grabbed a cup of coffee from the breakfast and it was disgusting. So we tried the other container of coffee that they had available for breakfast. And it was also terrible. It tasted like dirty socks and smelled like mold. upon checkout, I did ask the clerk to consider deep cleaning the coffee pots because maybe they didn't know the coffee was tasting like that and her Response was, yes, I will make another pot of coffee. That definitely was not the solution. I hope this review encourages a few changes.

Clean, great rates

Hotel was clean and and very reasonably priced. Service was great and the proximity to the stadium was a big plus! The breakfast wasn't great, but otherwise good place to stay. I would stay again.

We stayed here because of its location and reasonable price near Kaufman stadium. It was great for the two of us and an easy walk to stadium. Will choose this hotel again. It was clean and staff was very friendly.

Like the location for KC games, but if you hike the prices for game times, you need to make sure you have breakfast covered.. no milk, chocolate milk and slow on filling does not equate to raised prices.. might need to pay an extra person to take care of filled hotel.

Can tell they haven't done much in cleaning up after taking over the Drury Inn. Walked into room and air conditioner was set to 50 degrees and had a humidifier on. Tried turning on heater to warm up the room from 65 and it just blew cold air. Breakfast was horrendous. Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits and bagels were like a rock. This is the second Lotus we stayed at and the other one from before was about the same.

Not terrible. You get what you pay for, sort of. Some of the things we liked about Hotel Lotus in the last 4 years have gone downhill. Only reason we continue to come back is price and convenience to Kauffman.
