Not terrible. You get what you pay for, sort of. Some of the things we liked about Hotel Lotus in the last 4 years have gone downhill. Only reason we continue to come back is price and convenience to Kauffman.

The room was clean and the proximity to stadiums is great. Only good things about this place. The hotel is dated. The parking lot doubles as a tailgate area for game day. When we arrived, the window to our room was open and did not have a functional lock. Maintenance drilled two screws into the frame for a makeshift lock. The hotel advertises a pool. We were there on a holiday weekend with nice weather. But, no surprise, the pool was closed for maintenance. Next time I go to KC, I’ll spend a little extra and stay at The Westin Crown Center.

If the Chiefs and Royals move locations, no one will stay there. The area is very sketchy with many homeless asking for help. The hotel was great for us....free parking a walk to the game, a comfy bed, shower, and lite breakfast. And the staff was great....now the pool well we wont go there.

We stay here for our annual trip to KC. Not sure what changed since we last visited but it seems to just get a little worse each year. Our room smelled like the door hadn’t been opened in months. Musty/damp smell, speaking of the door… only way to close was to slam it. .tv only kinda worked after getting batteries for remote and having tv re programmed. That being said… will we be back? Ya probably
