Hotel was clean and the front desk workers were very friendly. My main issue was that the hotel is a little out of date and after attending the Chiefs football game we had to fight Uber traffic picking people up in the hotel parking lot. They were blocking the entrance at times.

Staff who doesn't speak English was rude just said no English and walked away. But I am bilingual therefore I was able to communicate but they should not just walking away they should try to help the guest. Front desk staff especially Lucky was nice and friendly. It was upsetting to see that there was no hot breakfast made due to the fact the cook did not show up. The other staff didn't know what to but put some Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches and a few frozen sandwiches. The floor was wet near the juice machine. There were only bagels and bread and some cereal as other options but I was looking forward to a hot breakfast. It was around 9 when I went to get breakfast and no hot breakfast very disappointing.

I unknowingly had misplaced my drivers license at check-in. I showed the clerk several other forms of id but none had my photo on them. He was going to refuse renting a room to me even though I’d already paid for it all without even calling the manager. Plus I have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times before. Then the heat didn’t work in my room. It was 62 degrees when I got there and 1 1/2 hours later it was still 62. I asked for a different room at midnight, but Andy told me the other rooms were the same. So he gave me a small space heater and an extra blanket. Also, I noticed a cigarette burn in the bedspread so I asked to come down to the room and give me something written that proved I wasn’t responsible for the damage. He took a photo of the burn, but refused to give me a written release. I had no complaints from my earlier stays, but the way things were handled this time, I’ll be looking for a different hotel for my stays in Kansas City!

The outside appearance needs some work; the parking lot you turn into gave me second thoughts. Room was clean and comfortable, but the highway noise was loud. Location was walking distance to Arrowhead and Royals Stadium. Be prepared to pay a $100 damage deposit up front.

We needed heat in the room. There was a small space heater and that helped. I feel that is unsafe. The best thing about this motel is its close proximity to the KC stadium. So easy to walk there and back.
