Communication with host was great. The house is fine, but renovation with very cheap products. Need touch up paint and had to share the last roll of toilet paper between the four of us. Two Uber drivers told us not to go outside the house because the neighborhood was dangerous.
Upon arrive to property, I had to inform host of not receiving my code to enter property, from the drive way the outside trash was full to capacity. After entering the property at 9140 Linwood Blvd independence, Kansas. I begin to do my inspection. The first bathroom shower still had hair at the bottom and by drain, two of the bedrooms after putting the sheets back had hair on the sheets. I continued my inspection and in the kitchen I discovered the refrigerated was starting and a carton of eggs with two left in it, and almost empty bag ice bag in the freezer with the freezer was dirty and nasty with food. I checked the countertops. It appeared to be not wiped down. I open the oven. The bottom of the oven that was burnt food, I immediately contacted the host and she informed me that the cleaning person did not leave anything like that so I took pictures.. I was very disappointed with the reactions with the host It is very inconvenient for my stay. I came here for a family members funeral. Time consuming it was too late to try and find something else so I cleaned up the areas wash the bedding.and cleaning the areas that I mentioned.
Perfect location to be able to go to the KC Royals game. It was tastefully updated and a great set up for family to stay. Easy communication and was exactly what we needed!
This was a good location to be able to go the Royals game. The 3 bedrooms were very neat and comfortable. Thanks for bringing a few extra towels over for us to use. Thanks for such a nice location to use!!
We stayed at this property for a wedding. There were three couples staying for three nights and it was the perfect space for us. House was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen with the provided coffee bar was awesome! We locked ourselves out at one point and the property manager was quick to respond and helped us problem solve at 9pm. Would definitely stay here again!
We spent 2 nights here. The neighborhood is older and not everyone takes care of property but we felt safe the whole time. The house is really cute and you can tell that a lot thought was put into the remodel. The location was great and we were able to get into the city within a few minutes. If I had any suggestions or recommended improvements it would be the furniture. The coach and chairs are really small, so if you have a big family with you it makes it a little challenging to all hang out in the living room. The beds could use some box springs. But again these are minor things that can be upgraded over time. We did really appreciate the thoughtful coffee bar in came in handy for sure. Will for sure stay here again.
Perfect spot for our group heading over to Arrowhead. You are literally minutes away. Appreciated the full kitchen to prepare meals and garage to store our tailgate stuff.
