It’s ok…

The room smelt so bad we spent $38 on stuff to make it better. I did that because I was figuring the rooms just smelt like that… the hall was hot and humid and didn’t smell great. I ended up cleaning ac coils (I think it was the main issue… needed a better cleaning…) and Febrezed room. Also used those plug in things. The floors weren’t cleaned very well, from the front part to the room my shoes could be heard sticking a little… The place itself is decent. Front desk weekend folks were nice. The funky smell in the entrance went away in the morning when breakfast was being done… never really dealt with this issue and didn’t want to be a Karen?… so took it and went with it. Price was great…

It was a good stay. Breakfast was ok. My room was a lot smaller than I expected, but was ok because I was solo. There was dirt under the bed and beside the bed stand. So a little dirtier than expected. Overall an OK experience. It was my 4th hotel on my trip and was the 4th place but it was compared to slightly higher end stays. Probably not my first choice again, but it was ok for the price and very easy access to Royals stadium

Great Air Conditioner

We stayed here one night to attend a Royals game. The hotel is nice and the room was clean and quite. Air conditioner in the room was so good. They have the shower with shampoo, conditioner, body wash there for your use.

Our room was covered in mold. From the lamp shades to the fridge to the wood framing. EVERYTHING had molding spots. The bed was a spring mattress so if you’re sleeping with someone else, you will sink into each other. The breakfast was alright other than the white long hair that we found in the eggs. The outdoors had stacks of construction plywood lying around. The lobby staff was friendly but house keeping came into our room at 9am to clean disregarding our “do not disturb” sign and the check out time being 11am. The area was busy this weekend and most hotels were sold out or we would’ve left to find a better place to stay.

This is a nice hotel. The weekend I stayed, I am not sure what was going on around the area, but the prices were very high at all hotels. Easy check-in, friendly staff. There was some hair in the tub that I had to clean out, but that wasn't a huge deal. This was my first time booking through a third party, and I wasn't aware that I would have to pay an additional $100 deposit.

The front desk service was excellent. When we arrived at our room, the temperature was freezing - someone had left the air conditioning turned down to it's absolute minimum. We appreciated new towels between the first and second days of our stay. We did not appreciate the balls of hair on the carpet of our room - it was as if no one ever vacuumed the floor. Housekeeping needs some direction and improvement.

The hotel was wonderful with great beds, clean room/bath and a wonderful woman who checked us in! She was fantastic & when asked, offered restaurants for dinner. The BBQ she recommended was delicious! There was a yogurt “bar” that served vanilla yogurt with granola, dried cranberries, and raisins for topping! All were very fresh and tastes delicious! There were plenty of fresh fruits available also. Very much enjoyed our stopover!!
