The room was a bit rundown and outdated. The bathtub specifically was problematic (the stopper in the drain broke and it wouldn’t drain even with the stopper out?) with small children who take baths after swimming. The bath was also peeling and needed some work. The swimming pool was also a bit outdated and not the cleanest or hygienic. All that being said, breakfast was INCREDIBLE as were the staff. They were very attentive and offered a room change (which we checked out but it wasn’t much better but I appreciated the gesture) and we just stayed because we were already settled. It was a fun visit AND the rooms and facilities need an update, especially for a Marriott property. The halls wallpaper was warped and peeling in some places and it just felt outdated.

For a Marriott Bonvoy, this hotel is not up to par. A lot of updates are needed and it isn’t well maintained. We had a 1-bedroom suite with a pullout couch. The bars on the pullout were all bent making it useless, plus there was no bedding for it. When we asked for the bedding, they gave us a set of sheets and the thin cover that is put on top of the comforter - no comforter, no pillow. There were three TVs - one in the bedroom and two in the living area. The wall mounted TV didn’t work so they replaced it by putting one on the desk with the cords and connections tangled up and dangling off the table. Neither remote worked so we had to request another. The kitchen light flickered so we had to keep it off. The toilet got clogged and, when we asked for a plunger, they had to check to see if they had one. Called back 10 minutes later and said they didn’t have one. We had to go buy one at Walmart. The carpet was heavily stained and dirty. The only good thing about it was that the main bed was comfortable (but a full, not a queen). I’m giving 2 stars for the comfortable bed and because they had bedroom suites which are hard to come by.

Late check-in..Arrived about 5pm. No one at desk, waited almost 10 min to be greeted. Was told room not ready. Ran an errand, returned still waited +5 min for staff to come out of back room and greet me again. Front desk rep was not personable, never told me about breakfast, never disclosed anything about property incl amenities, parking, check out. There was only 1 spoon and 2 forks in the drawer, supposed to be equipped with tableware for 4 people.Bedroom TV was stuck on blank screen that said HDMI, kitchen sink drain super slow even when running the garbage disposal which probably has to be emptied and cleaned out. The shower curtain does not stretch out to cover the entire bathtub/shower area..lol..that was funny:-) These rooms should be in top shape for the amount of money guests pay today! I have stayed at several other Residence Inn locations in other states and have given positive reviews this one was dissapointing.

Unfortunately this hotel is not really a good place in terms of cleaning services. 12 days they told me a different story each day They doesn't care about that. Looks like we're begging for cleaning service even after 12 days .

The check in process was terrible; was in line behind 8 others checking in and only 1 clerk. The night clerk was not nice! It was 8pm and the rooms were not clean yet and the housekeeper was rude. The room we rented was amazing but the kitchen floor was gross and sticky. Breakfast was decent. One of our toilets was clogged and we were given a plunger to plunge it ourselves; just not a great experience overall.
