Incorrect Unit

This is not the unit we stayed at. We did thoroughly enjoy the unit we did stay at in the Kahana Sunset Condos. The 1 ratings above do not reflect anything as I could not un-select them after I started.

Unit was spacious, well furnished, clean, and had amazing views from every room. Each bedroom had an outdoor seating area, which was a bonus. Air conditioning, ceiling fans, and large TV’s in each room were great. Would definitely stay there again.

Great stay in the heart of Kapalua

We had an amazing time at this rental. It was conveniently located minutes away from the beach, Ritz, Montage, Merriman's and more. This unit's view was incredible and we loved waking up to see the ocean from the primary bedroom every morning. The free shuttle to take you around the resort was the best part. It ran daily from morning to night with different hours depending upon the day (they can let you know when you call). The wait time was always under 10 minutes and the team of drivers were all incredible. Thanks again to Cimi and the team - we can't wait to stay here again.

Perfect for our family of five

This condo was perfect for our family of five, which consisted of 3 adults and 2 children. Our view was so beautiful due to the partial ocean view and the lush greenery. The two rooms were on opposite ends providing us space and privacy from one another. Just as previous reviews mentioned, there are some stairs you must go down to get to the entrance. So if you have mobility issues, this may affect you. There are three doors for this unit. Fortunately, there’s only one door with the keypad. There’s a sign that asks you to take off your shoes, which I appreciated. There are parts of the condo that does need some updating, but didn’t affect our stay at all. There is a pool in close proximity where voices carried into the unit, but no one stayed there long enough to bother us. Overall, all of us really enjoyed our stay here, the price was appropriate, and would recommend this place to others.

Beautiful unit

We enjoyed our stay! Kapalua is a beautiful location and the views of the ocean are wonderful. We were lucky to watch whales in the bay from the deck. And while the unit is beautiful and had everything we needed, it could use a few updates. As another mentioned, AC is loud and toilets run. Hopefully this will be addressed. It should also be noted that it is a lower unit and that there are stairs involved to enter and exit. It is also located directly above the pool which we did not realize. We left a cooler for future guests to use and the addition of some beach chairs would be nice. As would options for recycling. All in all a great stay!

Having stayed in Kapalua before this trip our expectations were high to say the least...we love Kapalua! The unit is a bit tired compared to unit's we have rented in this price range. The pictures not deceiving in any way, don't represent this property as accurately as it could. The property is the lower unit of a two story unit, the walkout part if you will. The main living area lanai's view is partially blocked by a hedge especially when you are sitting down. For good measure as if the hedge wasn't there you would look directly down into the community pool. This pool provided all kinds of sounds, shrieks of kids, to people just having a loud good time. But when your sitting right above it, the peace and serenity of looking out over Molokai is not what the Dr. ordered! The kitchen is tiny square with limited counter space for people wanting to cook together. The Fridge has a suction on it that needs a real hard pull to open and sends items in the door flying with each hard pull. The unit needs a face lift for sure. It's certainly acceptable but a bit outdated in many ways. Some simple ameneties should be included like beach chairs, cooler, and beach umbrella. Boss Frogs down the street in Napili took care of our needs. Lastly check in was not clear as they call the unit 1013 in all the information. When you get there though the unit you actually enter that has the keypad for entry on is 1014. Was confusing for us after a day of travel. If you arrive after 5 and Epic is closed this might be helpful. In the end we had a great time but had we known about the kitchen and location of the unit relative to the pool and lanai issues we may have chosen another location within The Ridge at Kapalua.
