Great villa in great location

We had an amazing stay at the villa in October half term. The villa was perfect for a family stay. Comfortable and spacious for our family. Lovely views from the terrace and lots of space for relaxing by the pool. Only a few minutes from Sami, the perfect base for exploring the island. We had a day trip to Ithaca as well. Dimitris checked regularly that all was well and the villa was cleaned mid week in our stay. I thoroughly recommend Kefelonia and Dimitris’s villa - you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Super lovely home from home

We had such a lovely time staying in this peaceful, secluded villa - it was the perfect base for a relaxing week in the sun. Dimitris was an excellent host, really communicative and helpful when we had any small problems. One day we had a small issue with the air con unit and he come over within hours to fix it. The pool is really the highlight. The location of the villa means you need to get in the car to go to any beaches or restaurants, but a pool day with a lovely bbq dinner is a great alternative :) There is a second villa, almost identical, right next door to this one, but we barely noticed our neighbours. Although the location is somewhat off the beaten track we we felt very safe. We all agreed we’d made the right choice with this villa and would happily book it again!

A little slice of heaven

We had the pleasure of staying in Villa Zoi for 4ngts and wished we’d stayed longer. From the moment you arrive and step out of the car it’s so quiet and peaceful. As we entered the villa it was lovely and cool, the air con in the lounge and both bedrooms works really well and makes it so comfortable. The beds are super comfy and shower works really well. There is a huge fridge freezer which is a bonus. The villa is beautiful and very traditional with the added bonus of a modern flat screen to which has Netflix, not that we used it much. Not when you have amazing views out the back from the raised large patio area with a huge bbq. The pool area is so private and it’s such a luxury to have it all to yourselves. It’s a very romantic location with amazing views of the mountains all around and the greenery. The host Dimitris was so attentive and great at communicating. He even brought us a lovely selection of cream chocolate pastries and left a bottle of wine in the villa for us, such a nice touch and thoughtful. We would highly recommend this villa to family and friends and hope to return in the future.

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely stay at this property! Very comfortable beds; beautiful pool. We liked being near Sami. Relaxing stay in the middle of Kefalonia

This is a wonderful viila literally minutes away from all of the island's top-notch attractions, not to mention the fantastic pool! The host, Dimitris, provided us with all the information we needed prior to our stay and responded almost immediately if we needed anything more. Can't wait to visit again!

Great villa in a peaceful location

The villa is as seen in the pictures, very nice with all amenities you need. Lovely pool and outdoor space. The villa is 4 km away from Sami town so you might need a car, but the area is very private. Special thanks to Dimitris - he is a very nice host, responsive to your needs and willing to help. All his suggestions - beaches, restaurants and point of interest were very good. Kefalonia is the best Greek island I have visited so far.

Don't bother unless you rent two villas

It was the first time we rented villa which was next to other property and what a disappointment it was. Villa was beautiful and fantastic location. Its a shame that the owner doesn't care who he rents the properties to. We are in forties with one child. We had my husband mother with us so we're looking to a relax week. Unfortunately we had a party group next to us. We contacted owner about the loud music from next door, I even sent him photographic evidence of the speakers which they had with them. Owner did nothing,. Sorry forgot to tell -he called them to ask about the loud music ( of course by the time they picked the phone they switched it off) and they denied. We even heard the whole conversation. Later in the night we had smashed glass, sickness - everything you could imagine on the trip to Ibiza not in Kefalonia. At the end we called the police. If you wish to have quiet holiday in the countryside please do not book until you know who will be your neighbour. One more thing on arrival when we asked him about the neighbours and their music the owner lied to us saying that he never had a problem which was a lie. As soon we told him we are going to complaint to the Vrbo he came back with pathetic offer of refund which we refused as found it offensive for the hassle we had

Great villa set in a peaceful area of the island

Our family stayed here for a week and loved the villa. The pool is a great addition and the villa has all of the amenities you would need during your stay. It is in a great location just up the road from Sami and other areas of the island including Argostoli can be reached easily. The view from the rear terrace and garden is amazing and provides some great sun through the day. On-property parking is also useful if you have a hire car like we did. Dimitris is an excellent host who provided us with some much appreciated wine and pastries when we arrived. He also provided some great recommendations on where to go and was always available to help. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone visiting Kefalonia, we will sure be looking to return one day!

Fabulous holiday!

We have had a wonderful 9 days in villa Zoi. Such a perfect location, with lovely mountain and forest views from the villa and pool. Short drive to Sami, which had lots of restaurants to choose from. Wonderful 2 week stay at Villa Zoi

We have just returned from a fantastic two week stay at Villa Zoi and had a really incredible stay in Beautiful Kefalonia. Dimitris was always on hand for any requests and was absolutely brilliant to deal from the moment we booked up until the day we left.The Villa itself is spotlessly clean and very spacious with everything you need for a tranquil relaxing stay.The terrace and lovely BBQ area has wonderful views of the surrounding country side and mountains and is so quiet you can virtually hear a pin drop!The pool area is beautiful and the pool itself was one of the largest Villa pools we've ever had with very clear and lovely warm water.The Villa is just a 5 minute drive from the small town of Sami which has some really great and reasonably priced restaurants along the very pleasant harbour front and also very centrally located and so a great place to be based to see all parts of this incredible amazing Island within a 45 minute drive.Villa was superb,Island is stunning, beaches bays and sea are out of this world, food excellent everywhere we went and the sun shone everyday so really cannot ask for more. Thanks again Dimitirs and we hope to return again sometime in the future. Adrian and Family

Lovely views, clean and well kept

Stayed for 10 nights with 2 young children who made good use of a fantastic pool. The villa itself was well kept and cleaned every few days. Amazing views across to the mountains and the forest canopy below the gardens. Nice situation within a sleepy village which gave you a sense of mixing in amongst the locals and getting a real flavour of island life. Within 7 minutes or so drive from Sami which severed us well with a good selection of restaurants and cafes, although Agia Efimia (15/20 minutes away) was our most go to destination for eating out. All in all a very enjoyable stay and the owner was helpful throughout. We'll certainly look to return.

The Villa was everything we hoped for. Lovely quiet spot but only a few minutes by car to Sami. Great views and a fantastic pool. The Villa has been finished to a very good standard and all the facilities are there. Sami has some very good restaurants and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. In fact everywhere we went the Greek people were extremely welcoming and could not do enough to help us.

Perfectly located on this beautiful island

The Villas are located a 5 minute drive from Sami in the quiet village of Kapodata. Dimitris met us on arrival and was most helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. Villa Zoi is one of two villas next to each other so would make a great choice if you were two families travelling together. Our Villa had all the facilities we needed. The washing machine is a great addition as we stayed for two weeks and went home with clean clothes! Nearby Sami has everything you need and is a very pretty place. It is also the perfect location to visit the many many beautiful sights on this amazing island. The Villa has beautiful mountainside views and the pool is well maintained. Thank you Dimitris for your hospitality and for all your help and kindness. We will definitely be back.

Excellent private villa

We stayed for two weeks and cannot fault one aspect. Dimitris met us, showed us around the villa and gave some recommendations of places to go and things to see in Kefalonia. The villa has everything we needed for our stay and we have already decided to return next year.
