There are definitely some great things about this property: the location is excellent, it was clean, secure parking was a major plus, and the host was very responsive during check-in.
However, for a stay costing $615 for two nights, the value simply was not there. The listing felt misleading; the photos showed a beautiful kitchen with a TV, but it was not made clear that this was a shared building amenity rather than part of the private unit. The unit itself was very scarcely furnished (featuring a couch, a random massage chair, and a dining table) and had no TV. While I should have looked more closely at the photos, the interior setup was disappointing for this price point.
The apartment felt put together with minimal effort and lacked basic hospitality standards. We found only a single coffee cup, three mismatched bowls, cutlery loose on a paper towel in a drawer, and Palmolive dish soap being used as bathroom hand soap. To make matters worse, the balcony was cluttered with a kitchen chair, a camping chair, a small table, and a broken bed frame.
Collectively, it felt like a space sloppily thrown together to make a quick buck during Kelowna's busy summer season. With some proper care and basic amenities, this could be a great listing, but as it stands, I cannot recommend it and would not stay again.
