Perfect Getaway

It’s exactly like the pictures. Everything is provided for you down to the coffee pods. It’s super close to everything. Even the beach if you’re up for a nice stroll. Unfortunately there was roadwork being done during our stay so we had to drive during the day but that didn’t deter us. We specifically chose to go during the off season so no complaints. We look forward to a future stay most likely during the off season again to avoid crowds.

Girls Weekend

We do an annual Christmas shopping weekend and this year decided to try Kennebunkport. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. It was very clean, comfortable and within walking distance to local restaurants. The only issue we had was the kitchen wasn’t well equipped if you like to cook. There were no large pots, or cooking utensils but we were able to make it work. We loved the house and are hoping to go back in warmer weather.

Enjoyed our stay at this house

The house is better than pictures shown on Vrbo. Very spacious. Beds were very comfortable, including the pull out couch bed in the den. Knowing there is no AC, was excited the bedrooms had window AC units. It is a short block to really nice breakfast/lunch restaurant and walking distance to Dock Harbor. Will consider this house again for future east coast trips.

Quiet and Walkable

We had a lovely stay in Kennebunk! It was easy to walk to the beach or the town, and the home itself is sweet and comfortable. We all slept will in the beds and highly recommend this rental overall.

The home was lovely, spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The walk into town was short, so it was nice to leave the car behind. We would absolutely stay here again, as well as recommend to friends and family!

Wonderful for Family

We loved staying at Quaint Bungalow in Kennebunk. Small "study" off the kitchen is perfect for a third bedroom...we had a blowup bed for a 3 year old. The master is quite spacious. Bathrooms are both more than adequate...downstairs is a walkin shower, upstairs a tub/shower. The open concept is perfect and the year round porch is beautiful. Location is perfect to walk to town but bring a stroller for the littles. We had no trouble parking for the Kennebunk beaches 3rd week in June. We had an issue with the finicky lock code to get in but we received excellent help from the folks at Vacasa. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to be close to the action but not in town.

Home as photos depicted - exceptionally clean, well decorated with nice furniture, spacious and convenient location. Enjoyed morning coffee in front porch sunroom and nights in living room with fireplace. Would highly recommend! Pet friendly for our 12 yr old lab was a plus! Had a great week in this New England home!

This property advertises a Queen bed in the second bedroom, but it is only a Full size and it is in poor condition. We would not have booked this property had we known the true make-up of the beds. The rest of the house is very nice.

Super cute, very comfortable

We had a great time in Kennebunk. The home was immaculate, super cute, and very roomy and comfortable. This spot was very conveniently located near great dining and shopping, but was also central enough to see many of the local towns on the coast with just a short drive.

Stench, bugs and oppressive heat and ignored service from the Property managers after emails

We arrived it was oppressive heat with all windows shut. The stench from the swamp the property is on was overwhelming. To open the windows you could taste it, running fans did not offer relief. We went out and purchased 4 additional fans. I contact Vacasa the first time at 1:30am when we could not get relief from the smell or the heat. We were told there would be a service tech arriving Monday. I contacted them by phone and e-mail over the next three days and each day I was assured someone would come and check on the property. No one came. The surround property neighbors (I can provide their names and contact info) claim the stench is prevelant everyday throughout the summer months and more so in the heat. We had accommodations with bugs running around on the sinks and there is not sleeping for 6. I have photos of that 3rd bed which was not a bed it was a PAD not a mattress, and it sat in the swamp the window was directly on the first floor over the smelliest part of the property. The property is a health hazard and the management company did not honor the service agreement. We request the refund we deserve and will proceed with legal steps if necessary. Outrageous as it is all documented in the messages as well as the 4 calls that I spent a minimum of 30-50 minutes a day.

Lovely home but..

Lovely well equipped home walking distance from restaurants, shopping, docks, etc. The cottage is updated with large bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms. We picked a bad week to be there and did not realize there's no A/C. The exterior lock is a real challenge and super frustrating (it consistently times out before the 10 digit code can be entered). The cottage sits on a busy road with a narrow drive and no place to turn around. I'm sure it's not an issue in the off season. Overall, we appreciated the cottages but will likely not book again for the reasons noted.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was clean, equipped with everything you might need and close proximity to Dock Square which is a huge plus. If you wanted to, you could walk to Dock Square which is great because parking can be limited, especially during the peak months of summer. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Perfect location for a Kennebunk weekend

Great house for 4-6 adults planning to enjoy downtown Kennebunk and surrounding areas. Comfortable walking distance to downtown and basically across the street from a hidden gem, Wandby Landing. The food, ambiance, drinks, and service were shockingly good and somewhat upscale. We loved it so much for apps and drinks on our first night that we went back for full dinner the next. Friendly staff and a welcoming environment. At the house, the fire pit was a nice amenity and there were ample towels, sheets, pillow, TP & paper towel. Everything you need for a great weekend away!

Great Place; Poor Check-In Process

Excellent home and location. Super clean. But the check-in process was not ideal. There is a lockbox to open the first door and an electronic keypad to open the second door. We were never given the first code to open the lockbox. After I had to call and get the code for the lockbox, the code for the second door was wrong and did not work. We had to call back and they couldn't fix it. We ended up using the key to enter a different door. But once inside, the house was great.

My friend and I were looking to get away for a few days and were lucky enough to stumble upon this VRBO just a few months before visiting. The location is solid! The interior is exactly as the pictures display. My cousins came down the first night and enjoyed themselves....I'd love to go back again!

Great stay at the Quaint Bungalow

We really enjoyed our stay at the quaint bungalow! The house was super clean upon arrival and super cozy for a fall weekend in Maine. It was located in a great area of town, a beautiful and easy walk to both the beach and the town. The listing does mention that it’s on a marsh, which is one of the reasons why we booked this place thinking it would be fun to go to with our little one. Unfortunately you have to cross their neighbors property to get there so you can only see it slightly from the bedroom window which we were bummed about. Also, the kitchen is not super well equipped for cooking or cleaning. They left one countertop wipe and one small garbage bag per day and the knives are very dull if you want to cook a meal. These are just a few minor things, but worth mentioning. We would definitely rent again, but just come a little more prepared :)
