Another low budget rest your head location. Solo mission so it was fine for me. Don't expect much, but its fine instead of camping. I went to adjoining restaurant/"lounge", and was immediately propositioned for money. Fine for me, I know how to say no. Cheap and cheerful.

The front desk clerk was very friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The carpet in the room and throughout the hotel need to be replaced. They look dirty.

Where do I start? This hotel was simply a dive. Hotel is very much in need of renovation. Bed sheets have hair all over it. The carpet in the is sticky and dirty.

The staff at this hotel were very nice, but unfortunately this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The property was very dingy. There is no elevator, so we lugged all our things up the dirty stairs, and nearly tripped trying to avoid a pile of hay that was left on the stairs. The room had a disgusting odour to it. Most of everything was worn down and stained. We weren’t comfortable taking off our shoes due to the condition of the carpet. The bathroom had mold in it, and was very dirty. The shower curtain was ripped along the whole top and was also quite worn. I really don’t recommend this place.

Room smelled like someone had thrown up in it just before we got there. The pool is permanently closed. There is a homeless encampment behind the hotel. They stole everything out of the back of my truck. The police won't do anything. The hotel refuses to provide security. GARBAGE HOTEL!

Property stated newly renovated. Not! Hallways and doorways seemed up one step down two with many tripping hazards. Travel with a pet and was horrified to see dirty old wall to wall carpet on the floor of the room. Most pet rooms have vinyl laminate. The shower was amazing and the bed very comfortable. Some confusion at check in but got sorted.

Pet friendly but room was on 2nd floor. Would be better for pet owners to stay on the main level. I think the room was expensive for a 1 night stay but we felt safe and it was nice and clean.

If we had read the reviews prior to booking we probably would not have stayed here. The hotel/motel is needing some updating and the 2 pools are in disrepair. Carpets are badly worn but as the front desk said this is only a one star hotel. Having said that it has no qualms about charging nearly $300 per night. We were on a 30 day road trip and have stayed at far better for considerably less. Needless to say would not stay here again and probably bypass Kenora altogether.

The beds and bedding were comfy and clean. The rest of the hotel was fairly clean but kind of smelled. There were crackheads in the parking lot so it felt unsafe for vehicles. The town seemed a bit riddled with crackheads so probs not the hotels fault.
