Lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury lodge with views overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddaw mountain range. Lake accessible by a jetty between March and Nov only.
Set on a lovely tranquil 5 star award winning park. Ideal retreat for walking, fishing, canoeing and cycling. Nearest pub 1 mile. Ideal base to visit areas within the Lake District National Park. Keswick being 6 miles and Cockermouth 7 miles.

Communication from owner was prompt from start to finish. The lodge itself is as described and in a lovely quiet setting, ideal base for seeing the north lakes.Lodge had everything you need for your break, local shops are 15minute drive away or pick up what you need on the way home from your day out. If you want a nice peaceful break this is the place. Would recommend.

Great location

The cabin is in excellent condition with a good range of quality kitchen ware. The view is fantastic. This really is one of best cabins to hire in Bassenthwaite. We have stayed here on a few occasions and will be returning soon.

Perfect relaxing stay

The site is perfect for a quiet relaxing stay, great views and 2 minutes to the lake. Everything you need in the lodge for a home from home stay. If you have dogs there’s a great area for dogs for a short walk and a 2 mile circuit without having to get in your car!!!

Great site, wonderful cabin, so lovely and clean. Bedding was beautiful and bed was great. Everything you needed and well stocked. Best settee we’ve had and we have stayed in a few log cabins, Most are near to the floor but this was excellent. Thankyou to Julie for the wine.
